I was in a Facebook group like this in my community called this your man sis?. And it was just full of women fighting other women defending dirty meth head men. I finally left the group when these two women were going on and on about what a good guy this one guy was even tho he is currently in jail. Why? For stalking women. Just like the poster warned of. They think bc he didn’t do it to them it couldn’t have happened. Blamed the women. Looked him up online in court records and he had several stalking charges. Drug and alcohol charges. For the last 20 years!

There used to be an app called Lulu where you could rate your date. I believe it was sold a few years ago though and became just another dating app. There is a more current app called Do I Date that you can leave reviews of matches. I'm not dating though, so no idea if it's useful.

There used to be a site called Don’t Date Him Girl to name and shame cheaters but I think it got shut down. I found it after doing a Google search on a guy I was interested in. It was VERY useful.

So I’m a software developer and was hired a couple years back to build an app that did exactly this. It’s much more difficult to get something like this to work than you’d think. There’s so many legal problems around defamation and slander. We saw a tendency for people to outright lie on the app in an attempt to get revenge on their exes or try to keep them from finding someone new. We had a very involved process for people to prove that the information being posted about them was false, and plenty of men were able to prove that their exes were slandering them.

It seems good in theory but apps that review people rarely play out the way you intend them to. I think there could be a way to do this just for abusive men, where women who have been abused can report it and when you start dating someone new you can look and see, if they have multiple reports like that you could be pretty sure it’s real. But you can bet that these men will drag that business through the mud legally if they find themselves on there, and they would most likely win.

Side note - a main thing that people used the app we built for was finding out that their partner was cheating. We didn’t design it for that, but we saw several times that women would go on there to post about a partner and find a post from another women who was seeing him too. It felt good outing those assholes.

I’ve talked about this before, but a man I followed in Quora made a FB page called “daffodil.” He was the one who I first heard about men entering relationships by fraud. The FB group was private but one day he posted (he was gay) his partners photos and why they were narcissists and then everyone in the group did it. I had posted a pic of my ex, right after he had abused me and even though I didn’t say anything about that incident, the women asked me if he had just abused me because he looked “evil” and “smug” and they recognized his expression within their own relationships. It was crazy! But I got scared and deleted my photo, even though “Daffodil” assured us that no one could see them unless they were a member. I was too worried about it. But it was worth it.

Seriously there should be. It’s always after the fact that I discover there was a woman or usually multiple women that went through the same bullshit. I wish I had been warned and could warn others!

It used to exist when I was in college. It was called “Lula” or something like that. There wasn’t a whole lot of traction on it though, it maybe lasted a year/year and a half.
