This shit makes me glad I'm older. We still have fuckbois but it's not as rampant. On the negative side, I deal with a generation of men who think that if they work they don't have to cook, clean, or care for children. They think it's a woman's job even if she also works.

This is actually sad. I used to kind of think like this. Its like you don’t think you are good enough for an actual relationship or that someone would want to fully commit to you so you convince yourself that this is all you want or that you would be okay with just this.

I want young women to stop setting themselves up for failure like this. Any type of connection we form with another human being is a relationship. A "friendship" where a guy receives all of the support, attention and affection he needs but gives no commitment, reciprocal treatment, or respect is a clusterfuck.

It makes me sad that this is what girls are taught to want. Then they're expected to prove how chill they are to win guys over. Asking for anything more makes them seem needy, demanding, and old-fashioned. 😕 It ensures that guys get all the control and get to call the shots. A change needs to be made.

Nah I totally feel this. I'm extremely busy, and if I don't text you for a few days or a couple weeks, I don't want to feel like I'm letting the other person down. I'd rather spend my time with my friends or on my hobbies. Sometimes a relationship isn't the end goal and women who tell women that they should only ever strive to be in a "relationship" with men are an ever bigger plague to women than guys who don't want to commit.
