Is it just me ... I get upset after a breakup for like a week or 2 then I feel sheer relief because I’m seeing the ‘relationship’ for what it really was, from a clear objective more rational viewpoint, away from them. And I realise- wait did I even WANT that? Did I even want him and his lifestyle? It’s amazing how boring they look when the specs & fake lovebombing wears off. I sadly try and un-dust them. Stop them from using 3-in-1 or 2-in-1, have them use lotion and washclothes. Without being in charge of someone’s grooming, life is better

my bestfriend and I went thru our breakups six months apart from each other and our life has never been better. Showed this to her and we had a good laugh over beers after working on our garden. Forever grateful that I’m surrounded by HVWs and working on being one myself.

This time last year I finally got my shitty ex to move out after I ended things on January 2020 and the relief I felt when he was gone was amazing. A month later I moved somewhere else and the energy was so different in a place that didn't have his presence at any point.
