Ladies, it is all about that sunscreen. Wear it every day and you will be thanking yourselves when you turn 40 and have amazing skin. I have been wearing sunscreen my whole life pretty much and I don’t even have faint smile lines, which I feel are some of the first wrinkles women in my age group get (late twenties/early thirties range).

The other big one is a retinol prescription! You need the strong stuff. A lot of OTC retinol has a weak formula. Curology is a great site for a retinol prescription. Or talk to your doctor, often insurance covers part of the cost if it is prescribed for acne. I don’t have acne but my doctor prescribed it as such to get the insurance coverage.

Get a good vitamin C serum. You need one that is a stable formulation (google this to find recommendations that will fit your budget.) And store it in the fridge to increase its longevity! As soon as it starts to yellow/brown, toss it. This one is a little less backed by science, but it is very promising for reducing sun pigmentation if you haven’t been wearing your sunscreen. It may also help build collagen. Collagen loss = wrinkles are more visible.

And work out! Whatever form of exercise you enjoy, but get that heart rate up for at least 30 mins, 2-3 times a week! There is some evidence that increased blood circulation has healthy side benefits for keeping your skin youthful. And it is just good for your overall mental and physical well being. You’ll sleep better and more restoratively as well, which also helps keep that face looking fresh.

And don’t forget a good moisturizer!

Yeah this is extremely photoshopped though. If you look at less edited pictures, she still looks fantastic, but she doesn't look in her 20s either lol. Posting heavily photoshopped pictures as an achievable goal isn't fair! No filters in real life!

Saw this on an asian food page. Some posts her face on a different angle claiming "airbrush can do anything" and "she is too thin" etc. - but her face looks real damn good for a 70 YEARS OLD woman like have you seen how most 70 years old look???

What we all should learn from this is = exercise + skin care + healthy eating + stress free life NOT BURDENED BY TRASHY MEN is the secret to youth. Literally.

I never really thought of aging as men vs women thing. Still don't. There are some people, Vera Wang possibly one of them, that have some very good genes and therefore seem a lot younger than they are. Mostly I think it has to do with how you live and how well you care for yourself. Women,at least women in the West world that lead easier lives than their eastern counterparts, age better because they actually take care of themselves. Men instead believe the myth about ' silver foxes ' and thus are content to let themselves look like crap, while simultaneously making up stories about ' The Wall'
