Thats why I expect my boyfriend to do all of those things. If I ever feel he isnt reciprocating, I make myself heard, just to remind him. Of course i do all of these things for him too, but we already knew that.

I do these things to show him i love him and he does them right back for the same reason. Thats the real 50/50

as women we also grocery shop/ pay for the groceries, cook stuff from scratch, clean up the mess and the house, we make doctor appointments and take care of ourselves, we take care of our bodies and our skin, and put effort into our outfits, we manage our finances and do it all while working / being in school full time!

this hits home. notice its the pickmes that help him study, help him find a better job, bring him coffee or make him lunch, clean up the house for him... and its so upsetting that it was never reciprocated for me!
