The things in society that are unfair to men are largely caused by MEN. They are their own devil most of the time. Instead of hijacking feminist discussions to throw a self pity party they should stay quiet and take some god damn notes. Maybe they’ll finally see that feminism is actually benefitting them as well in certain aspects. Topics of fragile and toxic masculinity wouldn’t even exist without the surge of popularity of feminism.

It’s absurd that their solution to this unbalanced scale is to somehow try and undermine and take back the achievements women have accomplished, instead of helping on working to improve and expand on them.

I truly believe this has a lot to do with men just hating the societal shift towards gender equality. They don’t actually give a shit about stuff like plus size sections for men. They just hate to see women succeeding and want to undermine them every step of the way.

I don’t wanna hear shit from men about how feminism did xyz. I’m told constantly from older women how most of the rights and freedoms we have today didn’t exist when they were young. It took til the 70s for women to have credit cards in their own name, run in marathons, become astronauts etc. So tell me how tf feminism ruined society if only a few generations ago women finally were allowed to participate in society?

I don’t subscribe to twox, but I ran into this thread earlier. One of the comments I happened to see was from some man complaining about how he is too tall and hefty to find clothes that fit, because it’s hard to find a 38 waist, so “he knows how y’all” women struggle. He also added that even though he could go up to a 40 or down to a 36, he didn’t want to, because he is comfortable with himself. Fuck that guy.

There was a askreddit post asking for stories of men abused by women, which felt to me like a "response" to this particular post. First, the overwhelming majority of abuse victims are women. And second, while I sympathize with all victims of abuse, the data suggest that predominantly the abusers of men are other men. I think when they talk about this topic in particular, they conveniently forget that while the victims' gender has changed, for the most part the abusers' gender has not.

Putting it very simply, if a post asks for stories of abuse from victimized women, it will never have to specify "women abused by men". So just the fact that the post had to specify female abusers tells you a lot.

This reminds me of when men get butthurt about breast cancer awareness. Usually it goes something like this, "But what about prostrate cancer?!"

What about it? Women lobbied damn hard for that cause. Medicine doesn't favor women. We're left out of medical trials and barely have too fight tooth and nail for reproductive issues to be taken seriously. Lobby for prostate health, dudes.
