I've said it before many times, but I absolutely loathe "the future is female" and for the life of me can't see how it's seen as promoting equality. It's blatantly bigoted and supremacist and promotes misandry. "The future is male" is just as terrible and bigoted a slogan. Both are no different from the likes of "white power" and belong in the same category. Promotes hate, bigotry and supremacy. The fact it's seen as not just socially acceptable but as being empowering and promoting equality is incredibly troubling. It absolutely qualifies as hate speech.

I just saw a post on the recommended, a screenshot showing a comment about men being able to wear the same thing many times without being judged as an example of "male privilege", and then a reply dismissing it because "it is something women do to each other". The hilarious part came when I saw the comments, and some of them defended the use of "male privilege" because the disadvantage exists regardless of the gender of the perpetrator. It was truly surreal to read that because the "it's done by other men" is repeatedly used by wokes to dismiss male issues and disadvantages. I saw at least one comment that did show the fact that, by that logic, many male issues would be an example of "female privilege" in an equivalent way.

I've said it before how I hate how female on male violence, rape, abuse, sexual harassment/assault, etc. is constantly downplayed and marginalized to the point it's a non-issue, when it's every bit as wrong and horrific as the other way around. But I also hate it so much when misandrists try to make everything into a gender war and claim that women put up with this type of behavior on a regular basis and men don't, and claiming that "women do this to men too" is undermining and invalidating women and their experiences. Ugh. These people piss me off so much. Not only exploiting what happens to women (not denying many women experience improper behavior and treatment), but doing the very thing they accuse you of doing by undermining and invalidating male victims and not giving them a platform. Talk about hypocrisy, trying to undermine male victims and see to it they have no platform or voice for getting any sort of aid. Men put up with improper and inappropriate behavior and treatment just as much as women do and have a much harder time getting help for it, which is something misandrists keep seeing to. We'll continue to bring up that "women do this to men too" because guess what misandrists, it's something real that happens often and you keep trying to see to it it gets no attention or action taken, something we're trying to rectify. Sometimes you'll get told to "start your dialogue about female on male violence elsewhere but stop hijacking women's experiences," which is exactly how men and boys who've experienced mistreatment never get help.

I've said before how I hate misandry is always downplayed as well, and there's some who even have the nerve to say it's not real or doesn't cause as much harm as misogyny. Just recently I saw an article on The Guardian where they mentioned concerns over young boys exposed to the rhetoric of someone like Andrew Tate and to make them aware of violence against women and girls. Will they also publish an article about misandry and violence against men and boys, and also concern for girls being exposed to misandrist rhetoric and idealogy? Just as serious and deserves just as much attention. Even with the Johnny Depp case bringing much-needed attention to this, misandry and violence against men/boys is still something being heavily downplayed and marginalized to the point it's not given any attention or concern at all.

The irony is that this is what create mores misogynistic men and boys, who feel frustrated and alienated and like society doesn't care about them, and they find belonging with groups like The Proud Boys. Misandry and misogyny constantly feed off of each other and cause each other to get more widespread and dangerous.

The rejection of TERFs by mainstream feminists is one of the few things they do right since TERFs are often radfems on steroids.

A few weeks ago, a user from this sub noticed that what TERFs do is simply extend the typical feminist misandry for cis men to trans women. That, for mainstream feminists, crosses a line, even though the line was in fact crossed from the start.

So I propose a test for feminists: If you say something about cis men that would sound super TERFy if applied to trans women, then it's misandrist and you should change your mind.

Most level-headed discussion ever that actually empathizes with men while reasonably considering differing opinions. And the definitely the most upvote/downvote discipline I've ever seen. To add to what I said before about how I hate violence against men (especially when committed by women) is constantly brushed aside and ignored and made a non-issue, I similarly also hate the the whole "women and children" mentality and the children part naturally is of course only referring to girls. Men should be protected and valued as much as women and children, and their rights and safety are every bit as important. But for so long it's been ingrained in society that men are expendable and there's such a "whatever" attitude towards them whereas women and children (girls moreso for the latter) are always made a priority no matter what. It reminds me last year during the invasion of Ukraine we were constantly hearing about the women and children, and of course nothing about the men who are equally vulnerable and endangered. It's disheartening and also worrying for young boys who are exposed to this, to see such indifference and carelessness towards men and them thinking when they become men they'll be not worth caring about.

Based out of Toronto, CAFE runs several men's centres and a male domestic violence shelter (the only one in the country) under the Canadian Centre for Men and Families.

r/MensRights and r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates has helped with fundraising events for their Toronto shelter.

They also engage in legislative reform and advocate for male mental health issues.

Their Toronto centre was in part inspired by Earl Silverman who took his life after running his own shelter for decades with very little support, and no government funding.

Some of their activism has been protested by feminist groups. Including a male suicide awareness event at the University of Toronto, and the opening of their male domestic violence shelter in Toronto.

I had an infuriating experience on another sub. (I have also deleted my reply to the dude since I don't want witch hunts)

A commenter asked what do men do to prevent themselves from getting raped aside from probably saying "uh... Don't go to prison lol"

I replied to him saying that he was a bit presumptuous and that many men such as myself watch my surroundings to make sure I don't get snuck up on. He then replied something along the lines of "women have to take many precautions as well alongside your stuff though, the worst thing you have to worry about is getting mugged".

I was then banned from the sub saying what I did constituted as a personal attack towards him when I didn't even get to explain to him I was molested repeatedly over the course of several months as a child so I literally had to watch my surroundings and my abuser to make sure I didn't get snuck up on by him. (Also, while I'm at it, since I'm also LGBT, I'd never lose sight of my drink at a club so nobody would slip something in it. Even gay men can be rapists.)

But no, I guess men don't have to worry about getting raped like women do, right guys?

When misandrists retort with their usual "male on female violence is disproportionately high and an epidemic," they fail to take into account the Duluth model and also how violence committed against men is still counted as being against women under the VAWA. This severely misrepresents the actual frequency and severity of violence against men and especially done by women. But of course, misandrists aren't known for getting their facts straight.

How disposable do you guys think women are in contrast to men?

I've been just roaming the webs doing some note taking on toxic masculinity and how feminist reduce all of men's issues into a mental health issue or a cultural issue that are both derived from a misogynistic culture present to day or at least present in our pass. Obviously this is just stupid, but I've thought of our biology and how men are just more disposable in multiple way in regards to our objectification, as in we're better work horses therefore better at bringing in profits, better athletes therefore better entertainment, and easier to kill off therefore easier to disregard. Like for example it's stastically better for a father to die than a mother to die to keep child survivability up See this study here

I don't know much about economy so I apologise for my stupidty, but a random thought came into my head that this could make it where cutting funding for job safety in male dominated work a cost effective strategy, for example trucking [delivery drivers total deaths (2018): 966]

Like, theoretically denying these groups of men access to a necessity like a union or other necessities in demand that can keep them safe for the sake of generating more profit would undeniably be male oppression, servatude. Reminds me of this one post on r/Feminism (here) during the spotlight time of the railroad strike. To quote, "In real time we’re watching the perpetuation of the cultural notion that there’s a wife at home taking care of the kids and household." and "It’s awful for men and women to have to work with no short term paid sick time, but in addition, the wives, girlfriends, husbands and partners of these workers will pay the price for the lack of sick days. The burden of childcare will fall on them." I always thought it was a joke, gynarchy and gynocentrism, but fuck I'm awakened now. Though, of course, for the wifys and hubbys back home it sucks, but like the men are directly experiencing and directly suffering this and how many have partners? They make it all about misogny and the partner's grief? As in, it's not a men's issue, it's a women's issue. It is feminism, feminism is for the girls as they say to me. There's no denying that the gender empathy gap is the biggest culprit when it comes to ignoring the troubles of half the population, but I wonder if another underlying reason men's issues never get addressed could be that male exploitation and subjugation is highly profitable. We already know about male-only conscription being a prominent case of this, but maybe this idea could be extended to other areas of sex-based discrimination against males, not necessarily related to the law. Especially in regards to male labour.

One thing I can't stand is lack of female accountability for creepy behavior. Women should be held to the same standards as men if they're creeps.

Half the women I talk to online and half who I talk to who aren't at work are creepy to me, and when I call them out they either try to justify it, or turn things around and make me the bad guy. What are some good ways for men and women to deal with and call our female creeps?

We should replace the word Toxic Masculinity with "Male objectification" as the whole "Toughen up, make money" attitude reduces men to objects that need to suppress their emotions and serve whatever social role they want men to fill.

In the commentator's case: The military needs to project an image of strength if they even get a hint of weakness, people will criticize and say we're weak and then they'll point to somewhere like Russia whose soldiers are "actual soldiers and not emotional pussies" (That aged well).

Nothing wrong with that in and of itself but there's way too little done to also empower men and boys, and especially in today's incredibly misandrist climate. I hate how there's almost nothing done to provide empowerment for men and boys.

I used to enjoy reading Rue Morgue magazine (a Canadian Horror magazine that's also distributed at Barnes & Noble, where I work), but lately they've been getting annoyingly political and increasingly misandrist, and I'm seriously considering not reading them anymore after this last issue. The same thing happened with Fangoria, which has gotten ridiculously misandrist. I swear, newer issues of Fangoria these days read like a post you'd see on the Female Dating Strategy sub. At least HorrorHound is still a good magazine for Horror reading.

I've said it before, but I hate it so much in ways I can't put into words (and certainly without wanting to go off on a major swearing fit) when misandrists always downplay the fact that men and boys are also victims of violence, abuse, etc. and that many are also victimized by women and girls, but they'll retort by going on about how male-on-female violence is disproportionately high and the other way around isn't anywhere on the same scale and isn't cause for concern. Just another way of saying they feel male victims don't matter and nobody should care about them. I loathe it so much. They don't even acknowledge the fact many male victims are still reluctant to come forward and have a very hard time doing so, largely thanks to this and also the "believe women" mentality and also the Duluth model. Misandrists are truly despicable people and every bit as much as misogynists are, but unlike the latter, they never get the attention and condemnation they should.

And don't even get me started when misandrists always like to bring up that mentioning male victims (especially of women) is like saying "all lives matter" or when they go about how women are always afraid of being out alone at night and don't know which men to trust. Evidently they don't realize that anybody, male or female alike, is always vulnerable from the moment they set foot outside. Men and women are equally vulnerable to bring victims of a predatory individual and there's as many female perps as male ones out there. But of course to them, it's only the men we have to worry about.

Regarding the federal investigation into Texas Woman's University, I filed additional material regarding 10 more scholarships that are based on sex.

Interestingly, this included a single scholarship limited to men in dance. This makes it the first scholarship discriminating against women that I have found and filed a complaint about.

I don't limit myself to anti-male discrimination. It just happens to be what I find flagrantly advertised.
