This happened to my buddy. Almost verbatim.

Played out exactly like how everyone would expect. But let me lay down some details, anyways:

Since he already paid off half of her 6-figures of student loans, during the divorce settlement he was mandated to pay the rest of them. She said that he said he would take care of them all, and his payments towards them acted as sufficient evidence.
When she wanted a nice big house, she had him hit up his family for more money. They gave him $150k as a deposit on a $400k house. She got all that in the divorce.
During the relationship, when quit her job and refused to get another... all of the sudden an "anxiety disorder" manifested. This is why she had to lay on the couch all day smoking weed.
Cars were his passion. He didn't have a ton of money, but always had nice whips. She got his custom Mercedes G63 AMG. ($100k vehicle, for anyone unaware.) That was basically his baby.
Towards the end of the relationship, she was talking a lot about wanting a kid. Buddy wised up, got snipped, never told her. Turns out that she had already hired a divorce lawyer before trying for kids.
