I had an argument recently with another one of these women that just can't understand why men don't want to raise kids produced through their wives'/girlfriends' infidelity. The way it went was it was a societal "problem" that guys didn't want to raise some other asshole's bastard. The self-serving arguments used to try and convince me that if we just changed the way we thought, men would be okay with it. She tried everything to convince me that I was selfish and inhuman because I didn't feel like spending hundreds of thousands raising her mistake. In fact, she claimed I was being "illogical" for not wanting to do that.

You can't beat female bias for hypocrisy. It shines through in every relationship sub this place has.

So messed up. That poor man. I also feel sorry for the child because she'll now have to pay for the mistake her mother made. Everyone loses. Imagine loving and caring for "your" child for a year and then finding out you'd been cheated on AND that your child isn't yours. That's a double betrayal. Just awful. How on earth do you get over something like that?!

Paternity fraud is disgusting. Completely and utterly immoral and should be illegal.

I'm a woman. We're not all like this, despite how it may appear. I promise.

A girl I knew in high school later murdered her stepson because she was so jealous of him and his mother. Another girl I knew helped her do it.

So I call bullshit on all these women claiming men are so terrible for not wanting to raise the product(s) of a wife's cheating.

I’d dip out. I’d be very very gone. You can find the gentleman that seeded you and ask him to raise your kid since you made the decision to have sec with him.

Me…I’d forget you even existed and he’s very very lucky they weren’t married as he’d be in the hook for support most likely as it happens.

So this is a teaching moment….it teaches you to never get married at all and don’t trust anyone but your dog.

What a disaster.

I wonder what the rate of paternity fraud actually is. When I say fraud, I mean the mother actually being aware that the man who thinks he is the father might not be, or she knows he is not, and doesn't tell him vs. a situation where the man knowingly raises a kid he knows isn't his.

When you consider countries like France, in which it is illegal to have a paternity test performed on children without the mother's consent or a judge's order, I'd be willing to bet the rate is closer to 10% than 2%.

I can be fine with raising another man's children as long as it's my decission and think I'm treated with deserved respect and gratitude. Being shamed or directly silenced about it isn't going to work... And well, it's a factor, I can have my own biological children and can date women without children, they should avoid that situation if they have a problem with men having other preferences.

While I agree on that men shouldn't be raising kids that they thought were theirs, because their wives/gf's thought that the bad boy in the bar looks awesome. It causes the issue of bastards in the society, which in turn creates a feedback loop of more bastards being created.

"How?" you might ask. Simple, these kids don't get a solid morality set into them through family, nor do they have a stable home life. And once they leave the nest, they do not know how a solid relationship should look like, excluding their grandparents (hopefully at least), which leads them to falling for the same mistake at some point, which leads to the creation of more bastards.

And because we're in the start of another depression in terms of the economy and potentially war (and another expansion of the war economy) which will only make things worse for these kids. A great choice of "Join the No-name War!" or "Work a job that barely pays the bills and food unless you work extra hard! Then you'll maybe be able to afford some 'luxery'."

How is this related to mens rights some of you might ask. Assuming it's a straight 50/50 division, half of these kids are boys. We aren't just fighting for the fathers and men who are getting fucked out of the ass by child support and court rooms after all. We are also fighting for the rights of those boys, so they don't end up continuing the feedback loop that our current society has developed of men being fuck out of their money, reputation and will to exist.

I'll never forget the shop classes from school that I had, never learned anything about woodworking. But I did learn something and that's how you should treat people. Equal respect to anyone, as long as they respect you as well. Be a gentleman if you want to be treated properly. Act like a crazy idiot if you want to be treated like one. etc.

Kids now already lack proper chances to learn that, because their parents either didn't learn that or weren't given the chance to learn that.

I had 2 kids with the same girl. Never married. When she was pregnant the 3rd time there was some questions on wether or not it was biologically mine. At the end of the day I choose to raise him as my own without any tests. That’s my choice and I love him as my own and I never want to know the truth. That’s my choice and I would hope to treated with respect in my choice. I can also see how you wouldn’t want anything to do with your bitch of a wife’s mistake. To think one choice is more right than another is crazy. Every kid deserves a family at the end of the day

I have kids. If I found out they are not biological mine I would still raise them. But that is because their mother is out of the picture and I am all they got. If I had a fiance and my baby is actually not mine I would be out of there so fast. It is her responsibility to raise that kid and not mine.

But I do know that men tend to be much more accepting to raising others kids than women are. A single mom can get a date, but as a single fad it is much harder.
