I'm so sorry. Feminists seem so cruel, and very few of them want to listen to anyone who points out that men have struggles. I guess it threatens their claim of being oppressed.

I'm a woman and maybe not an MRA but I do what I can. Somehow I ran across people like John the Other and Chapin's inferno back in the day and it really shook me out of my apathy. I had fallen into the trap of thinking that if you want equal opportunities for women that makes you a feminist. But I came to realize that wasn't true, and feminists can say that's what it means until they are blue in the face, but that doesn't make it true. And I am very glad to have had this learning experience.

Some of the biggest MRAs are women. Infact, Erin Pizzey, the founder of the first DV shelter is considered MRA, even if unofficially.

Most people go outside to get their reality check. Some people never go outside and have made it their life goal to be combative behind their screens and keyboards. Just focus on treating people with respect, men and women both, and you'll be treated respectfully as well. You are going to run into a few bad apples of both genders you'll see but you just cant take them to heart. Some people are just assholes, lol men and women both!!

sorry if this is long but am a woman too and support mens right and am thirty as well the reason why is I grew up with three younger brothers and now have nephew one of my younger brothers is a victim of domestic violence from a woman who did it she's an ex now for very good reasons she was one heck of a crazy fruit loop and also worked as an CNA my brother got her fried from it and now she's got a flag on her resume after that happened she slashed my brothers tires to his car and for a little bit there she was stalking him also she's an animal abuser to boot she abused a cat my brother liked he rescued the cat after they broke up the cat lived with my family until the poor thing died which also was a direct result of that evil woman abusing the poor cat she needed a bath we gave her one and with us not knowing this that evil woman abused her with water you can get the picture what happened she died a few days after the bath due to either a heart attack or a stroke during bathing her but we believe it was a heart attack there's a special place in hell for women like this

Unfortunately, from what I've seen, this sub does sometimes veer towards misogyny, so I would assume it's mostly men, but I agree with the sentiment behind the sub, and I appreciate the support and recognition from women. The fact that still in the eyes of the law, a biological woman cannot rape a man, or the fact that ~93% of workplace deaths are men shows that too, have a long way to go, and the first step is recognising it, instead of diminishing it because there are also issues that affect women

Thank you for being cognizant that men's lives come with their own difficulties. Your post is all the proof I need to tell me that you're a good person who tries to step outside of herself and empathize with others. Thank you for wanting men and women to both feel that they are both equally valued and both needed. Don't worry about these jaded women. They take their negative experiences from individual men and blanket all men with blame for the actions of rotten individuals. yessss, i’m a woman (22) and i am a feminist. the technical definition of feminism i mean. i don’t have a personal definition. or i guess my personal definition is the technical one (as in advocates for equality of the sexes). i just like to get nuanced perspectives on here and hopefully support male victims of dv and SA. i do the same on the feminist subreddits for female victims as well.
