Kinda of reminds me of a few Feminist bloggers, who tell women not to go to conventions or meetings because there are too many men, but then turn around and say women are not represented enough.

I've been following the so-called movement since it was first thought of as I found it curious; it quickly became obvious it was just somewhere else feminism wanted to poison.

On one of the first days, there was a post discussing mods on the sub. Many SRS members were elected and discussed, and the owners of the subreddit said that they wanted "SRS-style banning" because (paraphrasing) "we don't want to have to deal with the problem of eliminating male privilege from atheism when some people don't even believe it exists".

A cursory glance at the front page of the subreddit will reveal it is basically SRS.

One of my favorite feminist arguments right now is that feminism is for equality in general. They say MRA doesn't need to exist because if you're for gender equality, you're actually a feminist and they cover men's issues. But guess what happens if you go into feminist space with your male issues? They tell you to stop invading their space, that it's a feminist space and you shouldn't expect to have your problems handled right away. Funny how that works. Then when you want to make another movement to focus on problems relevant to you, as a man, you're a hate group!

So what options to men have in the eyes of feminists? None. You're fucked. They're female supremacists and they're doing everything possible to keep you down long enough to seize as much power as they can. They don't want us fighting back or fixing any of our issues. Feminist is using a large diversion tactic, a wild goose chase. When we try to fix our problems they point us in one direction, but tell us later that's not a valid choice, no matter which option you choose. It's disgusting and we have every right to hate feminists.

Amazing how these people want to turn atheism into an ideology. What's wrong with the ones that already exist? Like Humanism? Or Brights? Oh right, they can't skip to the head of the line and become 'leaders' of those movements because they have done zero to earn it.

Much better to throw shit, stomp their feet and dismiss the contributions of men as a class and gripe about how inheriantly sexist the world is against them.

This atheism+ really is Orwellian, in the purest sense of the idea.

It was good enough for Isaac Asimov, Gene Roddenberry, Kurt Vonnegut, and Frank Zappa.

There is only one definition to atheism and that is a lack in belief in a god or gods. How the fuck anyone can twist it to mean that by being an atheist one automatically supports "x" or "y" cause is beyond me. I don't believe in a god but I also have a profound disliking of "wymyn" ( I do love women though).

As an atheist, I can be described as not using one source for all of my beliefs. The christian bible says that it is wrong to kill people and I can't think of any serious source of information that disagrees, so for that and other reasons I choose to believe that it is wrong to kill people. On the other hand, scientific writings describe in extreme detail certain things and why they are "known" or considered safe to assume true, so I don't feel the need to rationalize ideas such as the Earth being 6000 years old. I don't feel the need to hate people who believe or like different things than I do, or have a different set of skin color or gender genes. This is what atheism means to me.

As such, I find a movement based on atheism suspicious, more so because it doesn't acknowledge the hypocrisy prevalent in feminism.

"Please, please tell me that we are not going to take this sort of thing [anti-men,white,straight discrimination, etc] seriously as a movement. I came here to get away from privilege-denying and pretending that "all prejudice is equal." Within one hour they had sent me a message telling me i had been banned. With such vitreous jaws they'll probably drop dead if they get some really nasty comments.
