Movies, books, sitcoms, etc. try to enforce the idea that men are much more likely to cheat than women. The opposite is true. Studies have shown women are much more likely to cheat than men today. Yes, decades ago it was men who were more likely to cheat. Now it's women. What's worse is that whenever female cheating is discussed, the first thing people do is to ask what "made" her cheat, and act as if the female cheater must be the victim somehow.

That men are constantly thinking about sex, and that is their primary focus in life, which makes us predators and dangerous by default, and the only reason we ever interact with women is because we are trying to get after them sexually.

Also therefore, if we ever express that we do not want sex with a woman offering that means we are either gay or there is something wrong with us, or we are cheating on them. I have actually seen women get straight up violent when a guy refuses a one-night stand or spread nasty rumors about a guy that does not want to hook up with a gal. Let alone the ones that make false accusations because they are so offended at being turned down because that is an affront to them they take personally since of course all guys want to sleep with them at all times.

This is a bit esoteric, but what I hate is how acceptable it is to generalize men in general compared to women.

I've heard women (and other men even) say shit about men that I'd get ridiculously shit on/canceled if I even implied the same about women.

And then what happens when you call them out? "nOt AlL mEn" cause pointing out "not all men.." do x bad thing is apparently inappropriate for some reason...

One incorrect stereotype I don’t like is the feminist Duluth Model stating most domestic violence is initiated by men. This false belief has resulted in men being falsely arrested, inappropriately removed from their home, impacting divorce settlements and child custody.

Another is: men are rapists. Again, we’ve seen all sorts of injustices including terribly biased title ix biases due to this attitude.

I’m not sure I dislike these the most but they certainly come to mind as a couple generations that have been harmful.

Women who claim men only want sex are definitely not paying attention to the type of man they are attracting based on their own behavior. Using apps for quick dates, being loose out at bars, participating in the club life scene, being provocative etc attracts a type of person. You can also usually tell right away what type of person you’re engaging with and what their intentions are when it comes to sex. So yeah some women only have sex to offer a man but get upset when that’s what the man wants.

That all we want from women is sex. We want so much more. We want love, connection, commitment, and all that. Most men actually love more idealistically than women.

However, if all a woman has to offer is sex, we will take it. So if a woman is upset that men only want sex, she should look in the mirror.

"Male privilage" is the one I hate most. For women they average men are invisible and thus only the top tier men exist which is why they think all men are privileged, all men can get sex easily and good jobs easily, etc. They have no idea how hard it really is to be a man.

There is always responsibility in male actions. I am responsible for everything I’ve done, and what’s done to me. Women are somehow never responsible, and every interaction I’ve had, has never brought me to a different conclusion. The generalization comes from the fact that all things which involve me are taken with malice as intent.

Men are lazy slobs who don't do their half of the housework.

Bothers me for three reasons:

1) It's just plain not true.

The odd couple were both men. I've lived with male roommates who were exceptionally neat and male roommates who were slobs. It is difficult to be objective about myself- but my 2 daughters and 2 sons are pretty much evenly lazy.

I'm pretty sure most men in relationships know they can't publicly (or even privately) state they don't think their wife cooks or cleans enough without sounding like they are stuck in the 1950's. So we get a skewed view where neat freak women with slovenly SOs will complain about it to anyone who will listen. But neat freak men will just keep their annoyance to themselves.

2) Relationships aren't about splitting housework in the first place.

Wedding vows don't include promises to do chores. It's not in there at all.

If you get a divorce, nobody is expected to go over to the other's house and clean up. It's not a form of child support or alimony.

I don't look at too many dating profiles, but the ones I have seen neither men nor women list chores they expect to do or have done for them.

So where is this idea coming from that people should do their "half" of the housework? Where is this list of specific chores that all adults need to do?

If you want/need a cleaning service, you can pay for one. Or a landscaper, handyman services, cook, anything really. And it is probably more economically efficient for just about everyone- male and female- to use these services and put the time saved into your actual chosen occupation.

So why are we turning significant others into domestic slaves? Why does that seem sensible for anyone? Just to keep score?

If anything, scorekeeping in a modern relationship should be about earning your half of the income.

But... nobody ever really complains about that being, on average, an unfair split.

3) On a personal level it's just a big thing in my life right now.

I work from home and my wife has an office job.

So... hits me pretty hard. At least at this point in my life.

I'm basically doing *all* the cooking. Significantly more than half the cleaning and parental tasks fall on me. But... who can I complain to? I can't complain to my wife about my wife (plus, I get why it is this way- I'd rather have her paycheck than a little more help with the dishes because point #2). I can't complain about it at the office because I don't go to one.

And I can't complain about it on the parenting or relationship forums because misandry. Just get to hear strangers' assumptions about how the opposite must be true.

So, I'm just gonna complain about it here. Because I can. Thanks guys!

That men are awful, oppressive, toxic, abusive, trash human beings... if they're "human beings" at all.

Things like "men always want sex" is obviously wrong in literal terms, but there is an element of truth to that, in the sense that men clearly have a much higher sex drive and in many ways are controlled by sex (I guess that's true for all humans, but it's definitely more true for men).

But the generalization that (all) men are absolute fucking scum, is a lie. And it's a hurtful lie. It's just pure misandry & contempt. There's just no excuse for it.

I disagree. I don't think it's a biological, innate flaw, but rather a learned behavioral one. We have been taught from early childhood that being weak has disadvantages and the reactions we got when we repeatedly expressed weakness were negative.

That we're all slobs living with a lawn chair for furniture. I can't stand a dirty house. Im not white glove clean, but clothes all over the floor, trash all over the place, hell no. I live alone and have no problem doing chores and then relaxing on my leather couch and going to bed on a mattress that's not on the floor.

Duno if its considered a generalisation but the full argument "instead of teaching our daughters to protect themselves we should be teaching our sons not to.rape" not only is it ignorant and offensive but its also just plain ridiculous. Do they actually think rapists are gonna turn around like "Urr durr you mean this is wrong? I'm sorry ill stop now" I'm pretty sure ted bundy and jeffrey dahmer knew what they were doing was wrong but no apparently they should have been taught.

It's our Achilles Heel, of which the matriarchy and their state husbandry are all too aware. When I was much younger, I had no idea how the 'matriarchal system' truly worked. I had no idea that marriage was purpose designed to funnel men's disposable income into women's and the state's hands. That naivete and gullibility nearly destroyed me on multiple occasions. Were it not for the banned/censored groups, I'd likely have never figured it all out, which is why those groups are so heavily banned/censored.

There was a time when marriage didn't exist, which was very bad for women, which is why marriage got invented. Women and the state needed a way to keep men anchored and legally enslaved for women's and the state's provision and protection, hence marriage. Divorce was purpose designed to make divorce as punishing as possible on rebellious men who attempted escape from their slave plantation.

Of course, all of this information is carefully obfuscated in the mainstream and you'll be told that marriage was created for and in the best interests of men, but that's just the 'big lie' used to hide the truth. Patriarchy theory was designed to shift the blame to men, which was remarkably effective and fooled most and, even me for a time.

If all men woke up tomorrow and refused marriage, the state would implement 'Compulsory Conjugality' in short order, which is well underway already and globally. All the crazy you see today is in response to men's growing refusal to wed women, who are BTW a net tax loss.

I decided to let the other guys conduct their rat race against one another and eat popcorn from the sidelines, which allowed me to retire young to a life of leisure.
