There's just so much wrong with that commercial to even begin. It boils the blood. I thought modern women are strong and brave and can do anything a man can do AND bleed, but somehow are too fragile to receive the mildest of flirtation.

I've been criticizing that commercial since it aired during the Superbowl.

At the start, Medusa is sad because she accidentally turned a woman to Stone, so got sunglasses.

Then she deliberately murders a man for smiling at her friend, and they all laugh.

Keep that in mind next time you hear about women being portrayed insensitively in the media. Murdering men on a whim is considered amusing.

Women want complete control over the manner in which they're approached by a man, engage in a relationship, and raise a family. In general they want to position themselves in a way that only benefits them and makes them feel safe (from dissenting opinion and alternative viewpoints) and validated.

Contact the advertiser, tell them that you would be interested in their product but you don't think they would take your concerns seriously due to their advertising policy towards men. Tell them that you'll be happy to look them up once they have revised their ways. If they get a few hits of that they'll certainly look at it.

An alternative interpretation is that it takes her so long to reason that turning people to stone is why she doesn't have a social life (because she is so caught up in the feeling) and then when she does reason out a solution, she then goes and bypasses reason again to get a better look at the man giving her a glance, destroying any chance at involvement. Her friends are laughing hysterically at womens lack of reason over emotion, to cover up how pitiful it is, because Medusa's curse is not turning people to stone but womens lack of reason over emotion sabotaging the best interests of everyone in favour of selfishness and entitlement.

Eve was not simply Adam's partner in the story of Adam and Eve: it was her failing that cursed them both.
