This seems to be a fear among young women that find themselfs in need of men, but are scared of being hurt. Now, speaking just for me, a woman's openness and willingness to trust me, does not fall on deaf ears. And I don't know any man that would be more of an arsehole, just because the woman is not as aggressive. This being even more pronounced with "high value men" that almost always just look for some certainty in where they stand with a woman, and a bit of clarity goes a very long way.
