Most of them have nice faces, but are the expressions they make supposed to be appealing, and if so, for what audience? Bodily, their features seem exaggerated: large breasts, very thin waist, toned abs, large thighs tapering from larger posterior. This isn’t a case of sour grapes and I know they’re popular, but I also know I’m not their target audience because they don’t appeal to me. More than that, I struggle seeing what their appeal is. Like how bodybuilders and powerlifters have different physiques, I think instagram models have bodies that differ from popular porn stars; they don’t resemble the ones that have spent a few years in the industry (90’s-born). They don’t inspire the same primal lust that popular porn actresses evince (ex. Sensi Pearl, Avril Hall, Natalie Lust, Kiera Winters, Elsa Jean, Alice Green). I’ve cut out my porn usage entirely, but the actresses listed should give insight to my type.

There’s this sense of unreality that dawns on me when I see who’s popular because these models look caricatural.
