Hi all, a bunch of people were really cool and informative the last time I had a question here. I have another one!

Question for all pill stances: Is science (I’m including the social sciences and economics here too) important to you in your day to day lives when you’re dating, trying to have sex, or just interacting with the opposite sex? Do you think about stuff like “mate guarding” or “hypergamy” for example? Or is it something you mostly think about when you’re reflecting on experiences or talking to people in places like this?

I see lots of people on here say that they believe what they believe about dating/sex/etc because it’s scientifically proven. Does science or I guess “empirical proof” change or maybe reinforce what you believe pill-wise? Or is it some other academic discipline, or real world experiences, or religion? Is it part of your decision-making overtly or is it something that just changes how you see sex or dating?

I’m also wondering: how do you know what you believe is true, or true-enough, or descriptive? Was there something you read or watched or learned in school that really felt right?

I really want to expose myself to a variety of convincing opinions. Thank you all!
