most of the comments in this thread are focusing on women who had crazy wild sex with an AF guy in college and then settled down with a BB guy later. that does happen, but it's not the only way that AF/BB plays out in real life.

there are a LOT of women out there who are married to a BB guy, truly love him and love the stable life she has with him. but it's not fulfilling. she needs more. she needs the excitement of being with an AF guy to feel alive.

women need AF AND BB to be happy. she won't be happy with a guy who is 100% BB or a guy who is 100% AF. when the guy is a mix of both, maybe that's enough for her to not stray. but it's not enough for a LOT of women. if you don't see the truth in AF/BB, it would blow your mind of you ever realized just how many women cheat.

I don't think that it's as black/white as Red Pill claims that it is. Women may have dated a guy who was more alpha in the past, realize that he was not long-term material or lacked maturity, and then settled for a guy who was more beta but still had enough alpha traits to her to be attractive.

I don't think many women are "settling" for men who are complete betas with no attractive alpha traits at all just so they live in comfort with what Mr. Beta provides, and I don't think that these women are not doing things for these more beta men just because they are not as alpha as the man who they might have been with before. A woman who doesn't do something that she did with a former boyfriend is doing it because she didn't enjoy it. I don't think you get cases where a woman was constantly doing anal with an alpha man, broke up with him, and then never lets her new beta do anal at all. It's more like she tried anal with a man once, didn't like it, and it's a coincidence that her new boyfriend is slightly more beta and she doesn't want to do something like that anymore.

I don’t think there’s that much denial as there is rejection that this is some widespread phenomena where most women will do this. It makes no sense. Women don’t want to ultimately end up with a man they aren’t attracted to. So if it’s truly a AFBB situation, wherein she’s genuinely not attracted to the “BB”, she was probably desperate.

The truth is like a fire.

People would rather live in denial then actually admit truth to what is out there. There are clearly plenty of marriages where women settle with a beta after being plowed all through college. There are women here that admit that. But the women here will probably also admit they're deeply in love with their husbands and the relationship is amazing when that might not be the case at all.

By observation and remembering my own young scattered brain - the only good explanation for people to want to sleep around is to get validated trough sex. And there is nothing nice or healthy about that, by the way.

In cases where you are not single and this happens - you maybe feel like your partner takes you for granted or isn't attracted to you? So... You seek out proof that she/he's got no reason to not be attracted to you. And you do that by going out and seeing if some other hot chick/guy finds you attractive (and voila, you're in somebody else's bed, and feeling you've done the righteous thing and your partner is an unreasonable biatch).

And perhaps... The stronger your doubt (or feeling that your partner isn't attracted to you, and you can't figure out why), the more you sleep around with different people to convince yourself that "this is not about you".

Same goes for when you are single. Trying hard to convince yourself. Building your pretty castle into the sky.
