Contradictions, if your mother says be nice, if you father is a spineless beta, if your teacher punishes every outburst of masculinity, if your crush says "you are great but not for me, you will make a girl very happy some day, please don't change", if everyone you see complains about jerks and douchebros, if you are actually thinking that you are above them and so much smarter, if your favorite song is about how great the most beta guy is, if that fucking Christmas movie you watch every year with your family tell you the same bullshit, if you see men like David Beckham being shamed for caring about their appearance then two fucking shows won't change your opinion.

People of authority like parents and teachers teach kids how to get tolerated and to get by, not how to get a devil may care I will start my own business now attitude, yes somewhere out there is that information, no most kids won't grow up with it.

Edit: It could have something to do with toxic masculinity (the hating gay people/promoting homophobia thing) or sperm wars (reducing the competition).

Lifting and gym culture for decades was dominated by homosexuals and still is associated with them. Men are not allowed to be metro sexual but this doesn't just affect metros but also basic care like pimple cream.

Or for example women compete for attention, if one does so by wearing revealing clothing that feels degrading for others she is cheating in their eyes. And shamed, no don't tell that this never happens, there are many articles about it. Honor dictates that men stop fighting when it is established who is stronger, a construct made to prevent mutual destruction. If a man gets an unfair advantage in the pursuit of mates he is shamed and it seen as a breach of honor. For years men competed with accomplishments and status, but competing with looks is a relatively new concept.

I think the whole "we were lied to" RP argument does not mean that the media we consumed indoctrinated us in one way or another, but it just feels that way because young inexperienced men tend to pedestalize women.

Because when you're not misogynistic enough to realize that women are just as shallow (if not more) as men are and that no unicorns exist, you think that "surely there are girls that will love me for things that matter". Girls are these perfect wonderful little creatures you see, they poop rainbows and are just so cute and sweet.

And the only way to lose these delusions is by gaining massive sexual experience with women, by actually observing, first hand, what really makes them wet. Or you can swallow the red pill.

This is nothing new to TRP. A lot of rap music is pretty brazen when it comes to RP truths.

Additionally, I've seen it mentioned a few times that the black community is the sort of "canary in the coal mine" in terms of what's going on in the western world. Poverty, illegitimacy, crime, etc seem to be on the rise the more things push towards the left. The most dangerous cities to live in the US have been run by [mostly black] democrats for the past 40+ years.

I am black and feel like I was naturally born/raised RP not by the media, but my father. In our community, it is understood very early on that no one owes you anything and no one will extend a hand out to you. You have to work hard to overcome the setbacks of slavery and racism. This mindset encouraged me to focus on my goals and achieving success rather than what rap music and whatever said to focus on (money, jewelry, woman).

Now by focusing on MYSELF, when I got to college (even in high school but more so in college), the women came with ease. I worked out already, maintained good grades, was focused and goal oriented, was employed, and saved my money and supported myself. This was Pre understanding what RP, alpha, or beta was. It wasn't until I got older and looked back I realized I was "Alpha" or Red Pill all along.

Black entertainment mainly focuses on degrading woman, getting rich, killing people, selling drugs, etc. Once I matured, I realized it was simply entertainment, but it can do serious harm to impressionable minds who want to follow it literally. I've seen many people lose their way by trying to be something they're not.

Yea, those examples include men being masculine, which is far more pronounced in African American culture.

TRP doesn't suffer from a lack of "the right kind" of entertainment.

They suffer from not being taught how to be men. Just like bottling your emotions can cause an explosion, so can bottling up masculinity.

Righto. If white people watch and talk about black entertainment in public, with analysis of how those shows depict how to treat women, they're called racists. (white people are called racist anytime they discuss anything relating to black people, but that's another post.) We're constantly told black men mistreat and cheat on women. We're constantly told how black men treat women is sexist, misogynist and hyperaggressive.

Have to lol at some of the pseudo analysis here. Black men are more likely to be RP for one reason: they can be. LC black men have no shortage of LC black women looking for sperm donors with no more to offer (since many of them don't think they need a man to raise kids anyway). UMC black men, especially without baggage, are like diamonds on sale for $5, UMC black women will kill to get their hands on one (I'm sure you're aware of the education gap, 1 marriageable BM for every 10 BW, all that).
