I was raised in a family where women are expected to be composed and pretty around their partners. Crying in front of him? Making your emotions his problem? Absolutely not.

From my understanding, it's meant to describe characteristics like being open and willing to communicate your feelings and boundaries, and to be open and willing to receive your partners feelings and boundaries.

As opposed to emotionally unavailable people who answer every "Is everything okay?" with "I'm fine", or refuses to talk about glaring issues going on in the relationship and proactively work on resolving it.

I mean, in my experience, it means a couple things:

It is being applied to people who aren't seeking long term relationships because they don't feel like they could be there for another person. They are emotionally unavailable so to speak.
It is being applied to people in relationships of all kinds with avoidant attachment styles or who are extremely busy with everything else in their life. They are emotionally unavailable.
It is applied to people who don't really share their emotional states, including the good ones. They don't say/express if they're happy, upset, angry, tired, joyful, at peace, etc. Trying to figure out where they are at any given time is like pulling teeth.
It is applied to people who aren't sharing in the emotional state of the group. Think people who are fair away and seem depressed at a party. Laughing during serious discussions or disrupting planning of something.

Truth is that it is good for men, women and even society for men to be emotionally cold. This does not mean they don't have emotions, but they express in other ways that don't interfere with their work, that don't distress others, and that don't make others lose respect in them.

Women cry for empathy and they get it. Men don't get any empathy if they cry.

Women cry for manipulation. Men actually lose respect and appreciation by doing it.

Emotional availability is the ability to mirror a woman when she is vulnerable and needs emotional support. Its a mans ability to show empathy and compassion but always from a source of strength and support. Emotional availability is not a man bawling his eyes out being unable to handle himself.

Men have an instinct to fix a woman crying, women have no such instinct and in fact studies show women feel disgust when a man is vulnerable in a weak way. Blue pilled women or women who want to appear more virtuous say otherwise but they are lying or ignorant.

It’s basically a huge shit test where the woman is questioning the relationship in some way.

If she says a man is emotionally unavailable, it’s more of an indicator that she is checked out but can’t explain why. The “connection” being gone has 0 to do with him emoting more. It’s actually her subconsciously wanting something (someone) else.

If she says she is emotionally unavailable, basically is an alpha widow type tell that THE guy is around in some way but she hasn’t let him go yet.

It's doesn't really mean anything. It's just women trying to virtue signal to act like they want something that they don't. it's because of this that women are seen as these sweet, caring, and open-minded people by society when in reality, they're very cold, callous, and self-serving. Our media has gone from recognizing true female nature as it had done for millennia to trying to mask it as something that it isn't.

To attract women, men need to remove themselves from the matrix, and focus on their masculine-nature. Doing otherwise is setting yourself up for failure.

To me, it means that you are ready to take on the responsibility and the commitment, pretty much you are "ready for the job". In terms of dating, someone who is emotional available is someone who is ready to take the next steps.
