Now I'm not talking about insane triple figure numbers. I'm talking like the r/relationships post that got discussed here earlier. The one about the guy finding out about his partners past. About how she slept with twenty men before him.

Reading that I didn't think he was misogynistic, nor do I think that the past is the past is a good excuse, but I couldn't help thinking: so what? So what if she had sex before she met him?

I'm always struck about these reddit posts about the surprise and shock these men have when their partners tell them about their past sexual experiences. Seems rather naive to me.

I mean I'm pretty sheltered, but even I realise that expecting your partner to be pure virgins, or as inexperienced as yourself (if that is the case) is just wishful thinking.
