I noticed a lot of people here often talk about men/women they personally know behaving in particular way as a way to prove it's a common behaviour of the whole gender. People you (any you) interact with are not random. You live in particular location, living particular lifestyle (job, hobbies, etc). And those things are in general interconnected - high earning, high education professionals are going to have different hobbies attended mostly by other high earning profesionals, poor wroking class people have hobbies of poor working class people.

Now a disclaimer - this is reddit, so anyone can just lie about anything but taking stuff at face value, certain behaviours can be very common in particular circle while being rare in general.

There are places/communities where women do in fact want a provider and are willing to do all the housework and childcare, and the biggest dream of an average chick is a rich guy, and you brag about all the gifts. There are circles where women consider such relationship degrading and if one actually gets together with richer guy she'll absolutely do everything to show she doesn't want him for money including refusing gifts, and will dump him if he doesn't do his fair share of choires simply because they want an equal partner.

"Women don't want men for money and are seeking equal partners" - yeah you and your friends are. You are not all women.

Simmilar with men - "no men would willingly raise another men's child it's cuckoldry even if you're a willing stepdad" - yeah you and your buddies on redpill, mgtow etc probably all agree with it. You are not all men. Plenty of men (how many depends again of location and social circle. In some they're the minority, in some majority) do not cosider becoming a stepdad equivalent of being cucked in commited relationship, and I would wager most men don't look at a stepdad and think "what a cuck" outside of some internet echochambers. Even if they wouldn't want to be a stepdad themselves.

The main point being - what's normal around you is never normal to everybody, and there is no one "dating culture" - there are differences in dating culture between countries, locations, age of participants, social circles, economic status etc. This is a very important context. Neither men nor women are monoliths, though men and women from particular background can be close (with outliers that happen always and are by definition a minority)
