The short answer: Because a man who has his life together can get a lot of happiness, joy, sex, and if he wants, fulfillment through having kids, out of a woman.

The long answer: Women are worth it BECAUSE they are different. Wonderful in their own sort of way. I'm not white-knighting them - female love is different that male love, but it's still very nourishing in a way. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you haven't dated enough women to stumble upon one who is truly feminine.

What you are saying is taking a CRUDE APPROXIMATION of women, a caricature this hypergamous mercenary that TRP uses to teach new members a point, and saying "well if women are just junkies for alpha fucks who scheme to their their beta bucks, and can't really experience anything beyond their own solipsism, then what's the point?"

That is just like a woman saying "if all guys are mercenary, only trying to bust inside of the youngest, hottest pussy around, and without society would probably kill and rape without discretion... what's the point? Why date alpha males if they are all sociopaths, drug dealers, work-obsessed CEOs and dysfunctional rock stars?"

You probably see the massive problems with this hypothetical female's belief. But your belief is essentially the same.

You fail to understand that TRP MUST come up with labels, generalizations, etc in order to teach. Do all women choose the hypergamous, branch-swinging strategy? Do all women hit the wall at 29 and turn into cat ladies? Do all beta men wind up raising another dude's kid? Do all women cheat on you the minute something in your life makes you act in a beta way? NO. These are generalizations - TRP uses them to teach, not to say reality is X. Take "alpha fucks, beta bucks". We say that because it is a representation of a huge, deep concept rooted in both biology and sociology. Rather than explain the intricacies every time and explain how it's just a rule of thumb, not a definitive law in every post, we just say AFBB like it's reality itself. In truth, AFBB has a lot of accuracy to it, but it's ultimately just a very crude map of reality, not reality itself.

Do you understand that? Just as there is natural variation in men (alpha, beta, everything in between) that same variation exists in women. Plus, being a man, you can lead her towards becoming an "alpha female" in her own regard (which I define has being very feminine, confident in supporting role, proud of her female characteristics, committed to self-improvement, etc).

You could jerk off your whole life. Or you could learn how to find the beauty in women and how they work. You could understand how TRP is just theory and test it out in reality on a statistically significant amount of women. If you did that, you would find that many of them are hamsters, but some of them are much better than that. And a few are hamsters who have the potential to be so much more. If only 1 women out of 100 is a unicorn, then I'm going to fuck my way through the other 99 to find that 1. If you don't want to do that, then fine. Just be honest with yourself - you aren't willing to put the time into finding out how women really are.

I just recently took my first dose of TRP, and I feel similar to the OP. Not in the sense of "why even bother with them in the first place", but more of a sense of disappointment. Like some in this thread have said, it's seeing that everything I've been told about women, and the dynamic of male/female relationships has been a straight-up lie. Truth be told, it makes me a bit sad; the love I was looking for externally doesn't exist, and it makes me feel a bit of pity that women have all of these "conditions" that need to be met for them to get that oxytocin rush.

Being brutally honest, monogamy, marriage, and family were things that I've always wanted (or was I conditioned to want them?). Still I'm happy I found TRP because it, along with the experiences that brought me here, are teaching me that you NEVER lay all of your cards on the table. You keep that pokerface no matter how much you're winning/losing, and you always keep a trump card handy.
