Anytime a man says "Happy Wife Happy Life" I don't care the context. Every time I have heard a man say it it is in some subservient " I keep her happy so that I am not miserable " way . I've heard absolute betas say it , I've heard alphas slowly crumbling into betas say it .

Personally I find the entire "I am married now so that makes me better than you" to be very annoying. As one of few single males amongst my friends, the married beta usually talk to me with a mixture of pity and condescendence. Like getting married suddenly elevated their standing or something. my old GF asked me to go with her to buy a car a few months back. She wanted to keep her payment around 175-200 a month. Found an 08 lincoln SUV for 13K. it was in decent shape but the guy wouldn't work with the price so i told her lets leave. But nope she had to think about it. They offered to give her $1000 for her car on trade in, which she owed $5000 on. All said and done the loan was going to be around $16,000 @ 11.9% for a car that has a value of about $11,000. After the numbers were done she looked at me (I'm quite finance Savvy) i told her "that is the worst deal i ever seen". Even the finance guy handling it gave me a nod. And you know what just to prove to me that she was a big girl and could make her own decisions she went ahead and purchased it anyway. I shook my head the whole time and she was so proud of her new used car. About 4 days later once she realized what a burden it was to finances she said it was a bad idea, "why did you let me buy it." I just shook my head and grabbed a beer. her payments are like $325 for 7 years or something.

Im a server at a restaurant.

Men who cant decide on an order, are too shy to even look me in the eye, constantly look for validation from there girlfriends when deciding on an order. The girlfriends always end up ordering for their man. The guys never take the lead at a restaurant. Its such a negligible BP trait but I see it everyday.

This happens in about 90% of all couples I encounter. In most cases, the girl is appreciative when I give her recommendations and 'decide' for her. They become flirty with me. I dont feel bad, if you dont want your gf flirting with me, then step up.

The males who are decisive, they are clearly RP and there is a level mutual respect.

When I see people talk about how they binge-watched a show. I work a 9-5 and have a few hobbies (lifting & woodworking) neither of which are that time-consuming and I still feel like I barely have any free time. I've been trying to be more mindful of how I phrase things when describing my life lately. Instead of generalizing, I personalize, etc. Instead of "people sometimes do...", I'll say "I sometimes do..." I think it's a way for people to subconsciously give themselves an out for shit they do by preempting an excuse that most other people do it.
