Why can't these women just dedicate the rest of their lives to raising their kids well? Work, come home, put all your energy into your children's growth and development.

Save money, stay in shape, volunteer, get a hobby.

Once the kids are out of the house, maybe find a companion to past the rest of your life with quietly.

No. They get knocked up by a loser and still don't learn anything from that experience and keep looking for a man. If you have 3 kids and two baby daddies and they both left, you might want to consider that you are terrible at choosing potential mates.

And might want to hang up the reigns before you screw yourself over even more.

I have to agree with the other posters here. Why can’t she punch out of the dating market and just raise her kids. Take the “L”, buy a cat and wait until they are grown to try again. This whole making friends first thing is extremely deceptive. You just know she's going to use you as an "emotional tampon" and handyman without providing anything in return. " My exes were horrible" "Can you loan me some money for rent?" "My car is acting up can you take a look?" This and more is what you should expect to hear if you get involved. And her spending your money if you ever get serious with her. She made the same mistake twice already. Don't be her cleanup crew.
