We don't hate Rollo Tomassi.

The value of his work is the value of his work. In that sense I personally think he's offered a lot to the manosphere over the years. Where the issues have crept up is in his association with 21 Con/Red man Group.

If you haven't seen it already, the 21 con founder had a childish rant to the TRP mods for not relaxing community guidelines so that he can sell and advertise without building rapport, or even contributing to the community first.

He was given numerous opportunities to remedy the situation, but chose to double down instead, eventually leading to TRP severing all ties with 21 con and Anthony Johnson.

The issue is Rollo was still associated with 21 Con as well as The Red Pill. Some, including myself, felt it was necessary that he denounce 21 Con, for the scam that it is. That he not endorse and participate in an event filled with cucks (jack Murphy), Feminine men (Eliot Hulse) and narcissist con-men (Anthony Johnson) that charge 2k a ticket to turn men into "Alpha male".

He didn't do that for whatever reason, he never publicly addressed it either, this lead to a lot of individuals within the Red Pill to make their own conclusions about him. Personally as I said, the value of his work, is the value of his work and as long as it has practical value I'll make use of that aspect of it.

The twist, which is what you are referring to, is that it seems that Anthony Johnson, being the loose-cannon that he is has given Rollo the boot anyway. I can't say for what reason, that isn't clear yet, we'll have to wait, but it's certainly a comical chain of events.

I was going to attend the 21 Convention in Poland. Not sure I will now.

Don´t know what happened, but Rollo (and others?) were kicked out of the event. I wanted to attend mainly to see Rollo. Now I´m not so sure if I´ll go.

There's a small group of people that have started vocally slandering Rollo. And yet, no one in this group has contributed even 1/10th of what Rollo has to the manosphere, nor do they possess even 1/10th of the insight that he has on intersexual dynamics. These are delusional, envious people.

However, these people did have a point when it came to the 21 convention (Anthony, The Family Hobbit, Jack the Cuckold, Ivan Throne). And now, Anthony has kicked Rollo out of 21 con, and Rian stone, who was one of the few people who also provided good information on intersexual dynamics, has also decided to leave. This is great news for Rollo, Rian, the manosphere, and men in general. Now the 21 con is 100% hacks and hucksters, and their bullshit is further exposed for everyone to see.

Well now that Rollo is no longer associated with Anthony Johnson and the rest of that cohort, hopefully people can finally stop screaming about him for it. But I doubt that will happen. It has become clear to me that the Rollo "hate" was always more than that. There's a substantial minority of ideologues on this forum who reject the notion that the Red Pill is strictly descriptive. They've drifted from intersexual dynamics theory and Game into making normative assertions about the way masculinity ought to be. Naturally anyone who doesn’t conform to these idiosyncratic standards is denounced as a Beta and anti-Red Pill.

I always thought it strange that Rollo would want to associate with complete charlatans like Anthony Johnson, but it seemed reasonable in light of his stated desire to grow the manosphere. Apparently that was a capital offense to some people here, who promptly seized on the opportunity to posture. I haven't the slightest idea why that posturing should be influential.

Efforts to purge Rollo from this sub are currently underway, and I don't imagine they will stop because of this development. It's been quite bizarre to witness, much like Mao's erasure of rivals during the Cultural Revolution.

As time passes, more and more redpill-aware men who don't actually practice what they preach keep showing up.

Rollo is being accused of being such a man because he's married and doesn't (noticeably) lift, both things that violate many core concepts of TRP.

We also know that men are supposed to communicate via actions, not words.

So what makes him a better example than someone who doesn't say anything but clearly shows that he lifts and doesn't commit to the (many) women he fucks?

Rollo might be one of the fathers of the red pill, but he's being rightfully criticized for not being a good concrete example.

Rollo always said that his mission was to help unplug as many men as possible, and as long as 21 con was positive with that goal, he would work with them; as soon as it wasn't he would part ways. After all of the 21 con bullshit was brought to light by the Reddit red pill guys, Rollo spoke out internally against the low-IQ, purple pull scammers, and the people that felt overshadowed by him saw it as an opportunity to pounce and push him out.

Well just recently he made a video about the Iron Rules and he back-paddled saying they weren't really rules, rather "suggestions".

Ever since he's gone mainstream he has been softening the message to pander it to larger audiences.

Overall, I'm glad people are finally seeing through this BS. I delved down the TRP rabbit hole for a solid 6 months and when I started listening to that bald white guy talk about 21 con, it reminded me of that ridiculous PUA community seminar I almost went to in Hollywood.

Interesting discussions on Rollo, and generally TRP. Here are the only guidelines I used when I discovered TRP:

Think for yourself. Never take what any of these authors/speakers say for the gospel truth without a pragmatic and philosophical breakdown and analysis of their thoughts.
Learn about yourself and what you want out of life, your values, and principles.
Do what works, to meet your goals and your objectives in life.
Never pay (except say...$10 for the cost of a book) anything for someone to teach you how to be alpha.

I think Rollo has made a great contribution in helping a lot of men understand how women think. Is he fallible, and vulnerable to make mistakes in life like we all have? Absolutely. Lets remember that he wrote a blog, wrote a book and shared ideas that were worth spreading. He isn't the Pope or the Dalai Lama.
