So much great advice on here about AWALT, “all women are sluts,” etc. some even say that LTRs will go stale around 5 years, the sex will die after 3 years, and its over once she meets somebody that’s just like you, but “better in every way.”

If that's what you think, you do you. But don't mistake the students chatting in the back of the lecture hall for the professor.

I've been in a relationship with the same woman for 9 nine years. She's affectionate, obedient, cheerful, and considerate. You invest as much as she does. LTR won’t go stale if the relationship is actually strong, and you only get strong ones with girls that are not idiots.

AWALT is said by guys on here usually about a girl cheating story, but she does that because SHE was like that, and/or the guy screwed up somewhere.

My current LTR, I met her in December.

We went out on dates, I kept my distance in the beginning - but I started realising that I was actually getting a lot from the relationship.

The polarity between my masculinity & her femininity is immaculate, with little faults.

She does everything that I need from her, and more. She taught me yoga, educates me on spirituality, and reminds me to keep playful.

For as long as the relationship is beneficial to you, and her to an extent, there is no reason to cut it nor for it to go stale.

Signs of a good LTR are the little things. I'll shoot her a message "can you go buy XYZ for dinner," and she will... She'll change the bedsheets out of her own enjoyment...

As said, it's the little caring & feminine things that she should be doing to support when you're on your mission. That's all it comes down to.

Look, I get it.

It is easy to look at this sub as plates are rock and ltr sucks mentality. But the truth is the red pill is more of a philosophy than a "dating coach facebook group".

Ltr is bad, if you make it bad (or she is fucked up). Some people bored with plates, while some is more happy with ltr. Don't look at the world in pure black and white lenses.

AWALT. Amen brother. So know your drill. If you know how to deal with it long term and very happy with your girl then who am I to judge you?

What other options do you have for kids? You can’t just fuck bitches endlessly, because they will use birth control, require you to use condom or kill you offspring if you leave her. Also you will be legally mandated to spend money on the kid, so why not just live with the kid as well? You don’t want your kid to be damaged person.

Problem is I find myself losing discipline and motivation to improve myself whenever I’m in a LTR. It also is a big time investment like you said.

Women are generally faithful once they've decided that you are the one, unless you give them reason to think otherwise - think of all the women you know who "stand by their man". Well if you ever intend to have children. It's probably a good idea to have a woman whose faculties are more or less straight, so that your children don't grow up to be convicts and/or cannibals.

I only seek an LTR for child bearing purposes, outside of that I wouldn't seek one.

I found a partner who fits my standards and I fit hers.

I had to find a girl six years younger than me to find one that worked for me, but I think that is more natural that two people the same age .

Honestly I don’t understand why any man would get in a LTR in today’s day and age. I agree with everything you say, but what you got to understand that your view of the world is not the only one available and a red pill man might find something valuable in a LTR. As long as it doesn’t affect your life who cares really. Is the chance that he is LTR is a slut like the rest of them really high? Yes. Should you worry about it? No. I won’t look down at a guy who is redpilled and is in a LTR. Even if I find that notion ridiculous. What I would look down on is a guy who decides to get married in today’s climate tho.

The reason you don’t know lies in the fact that you just asked trp to defend long term relationships, which makes me question your motive for asking. Regardless, here’s my two cents, in case you really want to know and aren’t just looking for validation in your trp life.

Certainly a physicist pro would know that anything worth doing in this life comes with hurt, pain, and suffering. Well, those are the same fires that forge worthwhile relationships with other humans as well.

But you don’t want a meaningful relationship. At least not right now. You want to fuck the hottest girls possible in the least amount of time possible. So you spend all your resources building up red pill game and chasing tail. If the perfect LTR crossed your path today you would never know it because it was a no or a maybe and this is wasting your time so you’re moving on.

And there’s nothing wrong with that if you’re someone who enjoys repeatedly chasing the initial spark of romance with different partners. A great deal of fun can be had that way. But it gets old and eventually you will move on in one way or another. You see this admission all over trp. And from this particular mindset you won’t be very capable of seeing much of the other side that you’re asking about.

Consider the person who pines for more meaningful connections. They must adopt an entirely different mindset and spend their resources in a different way in order to, to use your example, detect the ones who are likely to bail the moment a better option presents itself.

And the fact is, you don’t ‘know’ it’s going to be a waste of time in 3 years. You don’t ‘know’ the sex will loose it’s spark or any of the things individuals here have experienced. You ‘think’ it will be because the users on asktrp have said it will, and you believed them. Could it be that the trp mindset doesn’t lend itself to LTR’s and that’s why most here have had confusing, negative experiences? Food for thought, because it certainly is plausible.

If you really want to know how you could benefit from a long term loving relationship built on trust from a solid devoted woman, you need to do what you did to learn physics or improve game - start reading something that speaks positively about LTR’s and all they can add to life.

You’re not going to find this answer here. Or in any reading actually. Just like you haven’t had a single orgasm from reading this sub, you have to find enough inspiration that makes you want to get up, take actions and keep trying until it works out in your favor.

LTR’s are the opposite for me. They cook, clean, massage, sex, look good on my arm in public, buy me gifts and are a pleasing presence.

I get so much more time to do what I love to do in a LTR. Therefore I receive more than I give.

With plates it’s really a lot of effort and management which is exhausting when working and studying full time. That 2 hours I get while she cooks dinner, washes clothes, cleans the house are 2 hours that I don’t have to waste doing that shit. And she enjoys doing it and also because it pleases me. LTR’s are fucking awesome bros. 2 hours that I can work/study/gym/relax. You can’t make up that time without paying someone and even then it wouldn’t have that personal feminine homely touch.

I think most guys take the opposite approach and invest into the relationship. When really you should be doing what you would usually do, with her making your life a little easier and better. A compliment to your life.

People like to get in LTRs because they like to live the BP fantasy. "Finding your soulmate", "falling in love", "making your life whole"; those are just ways of emotional masturbation and it shows that you're lacking something with meaning in your life and you're looking for it in a relationship, but it doesn't work like that.

LTR is bullshit and you should never get into one unless you don't have time for spinning plates. Worst number of women is 1. Most times no woman is much better than 1 woman because only having 1 woman creates a scarcity mentality. Relationships are not meant to last, even the most healthy relationship isn't meant to last more than 5 years. After that, it can continue but as an unhealthy relationship. Cheating will start, arguments, fights... You name it.

If I ever get in an LTR, I am thinking of still cold-approaching women at streets but never hitting them up later. Maybe save it for when I break up with my LTR.

Don't. Energy return on energy invested is always negative.

There's no upside to it other than perhaps as an oxytocin stabilizer but you could get that from a plate, or petting a dog.
