Yeah I got posted once by this girl I was only seeing casually, and this other girl who I had only talked to through a dating app/texting made up this whole story that she was supposedly seeing me & hooking up with me often.

Thinking back to it I could’ve tested her like “ok what color is my car?” or something but it didn’t come to mind at the time.

I woke up from a nap and the girl I was seeing called me, she met up with the other girl & they tried to make a whole “gotcha” moment of it. Pretty weird situation, I wasn’t too bothered to lose that girl though. Just wondered what the other one got out of lying like that

As a reminder for all women lurking here and still think this is a good idea, just remember those unhinged and bitchy women you've met in your life. Not all women are saints. Women defame other women all the time. And now imagine those women put you on a platform like that with made up info. It doesn't sound like a good idea all of sudden, huh?

Nearly all of the posts are made up stories about how terrible a guy is but he really just wanted to smash and didn't want to seriously date her.

lol that happened to my ex, he got posted like 3 times that I'm aware of. We're cordial so I was able to get one post deleted but the others are still up and it is just people talking mad shit for the most part and spreading false information. Unlucky! Def hurt him in his dating journey

My limited experience with women in these groups is that they are balls of unresolved trauma... They're not in therapy or working on themselves; instead they're reflexively pointing fingers and desperate to assign blame to someone else, take even attempts to be supportive as undermining them or an attack, and generally looking to complain about how terrible men are. In the worst cases they make up stories so they can be the victim, because that's all they know how to be. So the female version of an incel.

That's probably not everyone in the group, generalities are usually dangerous; but a high enough a percentage that if I ever get rejected by a girl because they're in a group like this I see it as bullet dodged, and go on with my day.

I'm currently in this exact situation. I've been posted before but as you can imagine these scorned women only post the negative, never the good stuff. And spoiler alert, some flat out lie. I have access to the group and I can identify almost all the women posting but some are just completely random and complete lies. That doesn't take a rocket scientist to see what's wrong with these groups. The latest one didn't post until after I had ghosted her, right before our date because she barely met my attractiveness threshold and I lost interest. Exact shit women do every single day of their existence.THEN she posted and included details about where I work which as far as I'm concerned is a huge POS thing to do. If anyone knows what legal recourse we have, I'd love to hear about it. I've tried the copyright infringement tact with Facebook and they just ignore them these days when they used to take them seriously.

Outrage over this is a hilarious double standard given the prevalence of pickup advice telling you to date multiple women at the same time... You even seem to be following the standard advice as you write "one of my dates" lol

This is just an evolution of the whisper networks that women have always used to protect one another, and it's necessary given that the internet has massively expanded the range of our social networks and it's easier to get but harder to maintain secret families one town over. Men already know how many other men cheat, disrespect/abuse their partners, etc. so why hate on women for protecting themselves?

And as other people in the thread have said, the solution is to focus on either engaging with women who don't follow these groups, or get yourself friends/exes willing to vouch for you in these and other groups, or focus on self-improvement to the point where your dates are more interested in seeing you than heeding the advice (real or not) they read.

I'd also double check whether what you call lies are just differences in perspective and experiencing your actions without the first-hand knowledge of your motivations. Could it be you're leaving people worse than you found them?
