This is DHV. If you do it right, it is a good thing, but as soon as you make a mistake instead of DHV you DLV (demonstrate low value). You have to DHV, but in a humble and funny way, not blatantly.

I don't know if you want to talk to and be around someone who is arrogant or has a superiority complex, those guys have a big internal problem and they hide their weakness by being like that. It is not a normal attitude. When you see an arrogant guy, you won't say, "Wow, he's so confident," you'll actually say to yourself: "Jesus! This guy is stupid as hell".

Narcissism isn't what you think it is.

The more you value yourself and make it known, the more other people will see you the same way too - this is largely true. But not if you overdo it. Then you come across as try-hard And pathethic.

Narcissism is not valuing yourself highly. Narcissistic people feel completely worthless. Their confident bravado is 100% fake. It's an act they put on because they feel worthless. They are the opitome of the "fake it until you make it" concept, except they just stay in he "fake it" zone forever and suffer like crazy because of it. They rarely work on their underlying issues.

Take Elon Musk and his narcissism..you can see that he's completely miserable and he feels worthless due to the insane bullying he experienced growing up - and his severe mistreatment from his dad. And now everything he does is trying to overcompensate for that feeling of worthlessness. He even lies about being good at computer games. That's how worthless he feels.

People with legit deep level of narcissism can be popular socially for a short-term, but they often lose people on a longer term perspective because no-one wants to be around a narcissist who has to be, or wants to be, the center of attention all the time. It's extremely annoying to be around such a person over weeks and months. This partially explains why Elon Musk turns from "hero" to "hated". It's the faking. The constant lies. He says he will do this and that which is so amazing, and 90% of it never comes true.

Women are also different from each other. Some are actually attracted to these narcissistic vibes. But a lot of them aren't. It's kind of like trump, some hate that shit. Others love that shit.

If you deeply value yourself tho, you don't have to go and tell the world about it or show off, nor do you have to be the center of attention. There's no lying involved. A true king doesn't have to say he's king. Unlike trump who has to say all the time that he's the best at everything - making it completely unbelievable and ridiculous. If trump was not a rich and influential celebrity, no-one would want to hang around him. Like if you just took a random person and gave him trump's personality - this person would not have many supporters or friends. Some women might fall for the superficial bravado - but most women would be turned off. Especially women who value themselves. And especially the longer they hang out with him. I don't think trump has any long-term friends at all. They all fall by the wayside at some point. There's always this toxic breakup situation. It will happen between him and Elon too. Just like it did with Steve Bannon and all his other previous "best buds"

People aren't listening to what you say because you can openly lie about it. There's way more obvious indicators which show your state of mind; you can see it in how zoned out you are in the expression on your face, you can see it in the certainty in your voice, you can see it in how tense your body is, you can see it in generally how reactive/twitchy you are.

'Making your value known' is expressing yourself freely and openly without distraction, without holding yourself back in any way; which is speaking with enthusiasm, certainty, charisma.

That could take form in saying "I am the best to have ever lived"; however, no one is listening to that and agreeing with it on a superficial level, they're tuning into your convinction, certainty, your state of mind, your self-esteem when you say it. You could equally say "I am a virgin", it doesn't matter, as long as you deliver it with passion, charisma, self-esteem.

If you hesitate, if you question yourself, if you're 'in your head', if your analysing, judging, comparing, you deliver it half-assed and everyone can see that you don't feel comfortable (high status) in that situation.

Imho I feel that when you just lock in and focus on building yourself in every aspect and don’t care about getting girls you have wayyyyyyyy more better odds. I think humans in general are more attracted to things they can not easily have, you are more attractive when you’re not trying to please everyone. Don’t get me wrong, you should still be a gentleman by all means, and you shouldn’t be too arrogant.

I think it’s okay to be selfish sometimes. Many women especially the prettiest ones also usually act mostly in self-interest. And there’s nothing wrong with putting yourself first and people also know and see that. As a former people pleaser, you feel like this maybe cause you’re just not used to putting yourself first.

Yes. But it’s not what you say, but your behaviors. Being arrogant and feeling above people will be a DHV as long as you don’t brag or are actively trying to put people down.

Ie. If you go up to a girl and you tell her that you went to Paris for the Olympics, and you say it like “i did it cuz why not” that is the proper arrogant way.

But if you say it like “oh wow, you never been to the Olympics or had a man take you to Paris?” At that point your bragging and trying to demean her previos choices of men.

Women love arrogant guys, they don’t love men that try to be assholes to them by putting them down.

It works but it's a cheap fix and you're not gonna do it (for long) if you have morals as a person. But yes, in short, if you're a people pleaser and you start acting like a cocky dickhead then women will be much more attracted to you, it's weird but it works. You want to work up to a level where you project confidence without acting like a POS though.

Speaking from experience btw, i went throught this phase when i was 17-18 and started gaining a lot of confidence due to changing my lifestyle. Went out and acted extremely arrogant and i had more success with girls than ever, up to a point where i literally had a couple instances of random (often very good looking) girls in bars/clubs coming up to me and being very upfront and flirtatious. This was at the expense of me often being very rude to people, making fun of my friends to boost my own ego and getting into fights. It might seem attractive but it has a lot of long term consequences and it's not something you're gonna be able to do for long if you have a conscience. Once the rush of getting laid a couple times wears off you'll realize you're fucking a lot of other things up in order to get laid which is retarded and sad.

If you find your true self-confidence you can pull that off (to an even higher level) without behaving like an asshole.
