Alright, let me set the scene first. So Im at the gym by myself, and it’s really busy (it’s like 8pm). All the treadmills are pretty much full, but luckily I find an open one at the end of a row.

In front of me, I notice this really hot chick who is just my type. Nerdy looking with glasses, but she’s tall AND thick. And I know everyone who was there before me had already been staring at her. But she had her headphones in and was focused on her workout like I was with mine.

Obviously, I wanted to wait till she was done to say something. But I thought to myself, this is the type of gym where people stare. So i don’t want to approach so direct (I was scared alright).

I wanted to know what you guys say to start light hearted fun conversation at the gym, where it’s kinda flirty but moreso a I’ll see you around type of conversation?

Places where you normally frequent and see the same people often like the gym is not my specialty for cold approaching.

Edit: I’ll start going to the gym a little more fresh. If there’s no IOI’s ill take the loss. But I heard somewhere that the gym is starting to become the club outside the club. Everybody dresses up nice to go to the gym now so ig Ill start there.
