I've come to realize a major problem that newbs are having when it comes to practicing pickup. Half of them basically have no plan. They are just going out and trying to implement random techniques as they go with the flow of the night. You arn't good enough to just go with the flow and wing it.

When you see guys like RSD Tyler who are basically just coming off the top of the dome and improvising on the spot, it can be misleading. The reason he can do that is because he already knows exactly what the fuck he's doing and he's already gone out with an exact game plan from opening to full close a million times. He can wing it like Eminem can freestyle but if you cant rap then how do expect to be able to freestyle?

The other half of you are going out and wanting to know exactly what to say every single second. As if you can just read your lines like a play. Then as soon as you start talking you have so much shit going on in your head that you don't know whay to do. If a girl says anything off script you are immediately lost. Then you just come to the conclusion that anything scripted is completely useless and you turn into the guy that just goes with flow and has no idea what he's really doing or what his game plan is.

The worst part is that you start to believe it's working because you start getting lucky, and you end up a regular guy who thinks they understand pickup. When in all actuality you're getting laid simply because you are putting yourself out there more. You are essentially playing a numbers game and getting lucky, it has liitle to do with actual skill.

Know exactly what to do every step of the way, not exactly what to say. Here's what a gameplan looks like in my brain.

Open, FTC, opinion opener, initiate kino, hook, DHV story, hot cold, set merge, gambit, mini isolate, kino esculate, compliance test, bounce, full isolate, gambit, compliance test, banter, kiss close, bounce back to set, DHV story, give a reason to bounce by saying Im hungry or something, bounce to new location, build sexual tensions, figure out logistics, give reason to bounce to full close location, final bounce, seduction, full close.

You need to have a gameplan in mind so you know what to do every step of the way, even if you have to adjust the gameplan in field. You dont need to know exactly what gambit you are going to use, or what dhv story you'll say, or which opener you will go with. It helps to have some gambits and stuff memorized but you need to calibrate and use what is appropriate for the situation. You can improvise within the plan.

Tom brady can probably improvise every play but until you get Tom Brady good, make a gameplan with your coach before the game. You will still have plenty of opportunity to improvise on the field but it should be 70% planned 30% improv.
