That story I said was %100 true. The thing is that unattractive guys have a very hard time being very confident in the way they look. They are under a spell. Even after that guy pulled an 8 and had the best night of his life he reverted back the very next day. He never wore anything like that again and he ended up with a ugly fat girl who treats him like shit.

It's so hard to break free of that mindset. Even after I basically proved it to him first hand, he couldnt escape his pre conceived beliefs. If you know you look amazing then its really easy to be extremely confident. So its true that looks matter, but not how most people think they do.

It's an interesting opener. I could see it working as long as the person using it doesn't feel insecure about it. I used to approach chicks and ask them if they know where the nearest gay club is, and it used to work well. Some of them play along because they can tell I'm not gay and just being playful, but those who don't realize it's a joke I would just say I'm just kidding, and ask them if I look gay. Then I just transition into regular convo.

Yeah lol I can't imagine this ever working for me. I'm pretty tall and big with muscle on my frame but have a babyface and soft features so I stay the fuck away from any "pretending to be gay" jokes.

When girls would say "Oh she's my girlfriend" my wingman started defaulting to: "Oh we're gay too!", regardless of if they were actually lesbians or just wanted us to leave. He does it when he gets nervous and I cringe so fucking hard every time, roll my eyes and cover my face in dismay.

Honestly, I think a couple of times the girls believed him before they left. Gahhh so cringeworthy.

Girl here. I'd be super upset. And that's a risky thing to do nowadays.

If I'm drunk I might brush it off, but if I was sober and a guy lied to me about being gay to get my attention I would not be happy about it. And I feel like you guys should shoot for girls with a high enough confidence that they dont throw themselves at you for one compliment.

I'd jump into bed with any guy who compliments my career choice and is impressed by my accomplishments, so Id recommend that if you're going for an attractive/confident girl.

Firstly they would be receiving you well because they think there is no sexual implication here.
