Should we make one? Will people participate?

The advice here is often “just exist”, “women don’t need seduction”, “this is for men”, or “be direct” when it comes to women asking for advice. We all know this advice doesn’t work. We all also know sometimes the opposite gender says they want one thing, but in reality they chase something totally different. “Watch what they do, not what they say”.

I can say for me - I show up to spaces with a very positive attitude, I greet and smile at men very often, and I am still figuring out my life, myself, and my hobbies. I’m pretty enough (for drinks, bottle service, getting in sections, attention) but clearly in the average to above average category depending on the guy. And obviously something about my personality leads to a lack of dates or something - ie I’ve only had 2 boyfriends & get dates sporadically. And my standards have been historically low barrier to entry for just dates - men who are below average to above average in looks, men who make less money than me, and even men who are not great conversationally. So I don’t want to hear “standards are too high” crap.

It seems that if you’re an unattractive to above average woman - we’re often lost in the weeds. A lot of the unspoken is “just be hot/attractive” and that’s who men are chasing so they completely disregard concrete and logical advice for women who maybe they cannot fathom to understand.

I’d be interested in the subreddit being for women and men who can provide authentic and meaningful advice to women who are not lucky/hot/phenomenal personality. Would this be a good start to bridging the gaps so more women can enter the dating market?
