Senior in high school here. Got this neighbor who I haven't talked to in like six years but she's cute now and I want to make a move. She's a grade below mine, and I never see her at school or anything. I'm confident that I could succeed with her but I just don't know how to open without it seeming extremely out of place (like if I randomly sent her a message on FB). I'd approach her in person but I have no access that I wouldn't have to go out of my way for.

So I'm a senior in high school and there's this cute girl that I have two classes with. In one of them, I sit behind her. I'd really like to get to know her, but I'm not sure how to open because in the class I sit behind her in, my teacher usually lectures for the whole period and there isn't much opportunity. I've discovered that my problem isn't so much with confidence as it is with opening and just taking the first step in general. Any suggestions?

Hi, im from brazil, i hope you can understand me. (Sorry if i am on the wrong post) And i got a girl wanting to date me. She likes almost everything i do, in music, in almost every stuff, so i didn't had to do anything to have she in my hands. And i am a little worried about this. I i called she to go out to the cinema, and she accepted. But i don't know what should i do, because i am just worried with the moment when we should kiss. We both know, we both want to, but something it's interrupting us to make it happen.

Met a cutie working at my campus center. Flirted, got her number, asked her if she wanted to go to a show tonight to get to know one another. She seemed interested until she just bailed out ~5 hours before we were supposed to meet up. She says we is tied up with plans and it should wait till another.

Should I try to get to know her via text (were strangers) or just ask her to hit me up when shes free? All weve texted about other than plans is what kind of music we both like.

Drunk me performs really badly. Sloppy, unaware of social cues, etc.

Completely sober me does pretty alright, but he needs warmup sets, is heavily reliant on situational confidence or on social momentum that's been building throughout the night, and had to plow through a lot of blowouts to get any closes.

Slightly buzzed me (I'm fairly alcohol tolerant- Tonight it was two beers and a shot) seems to have much easier success, need no warmup, and doesn't have to go on a 30-girl-approach-rampage to get any closes. Less outcome dependent, more bringer-of-fun vibe, etc., and after the alcohol wears off he still has the social momentum for earlier and is a lot more successful.

I guess my question here is: Is there anything bad about this?

How does one become outcome independent? I work in sales and I find that when I'm not worried about my numbers, they tend to be better.

This works the same with women: when I'm worried about the outcome, the outcome isn't what I want.

2 questions.

What is frame? I have a general idea but don't really have a solid understanding.
How do I make physical escalation during something like a coffee date feel more natural? I'm good at initial attraction and getting a first date, but on the date I have a hard time using kino at all.

So I had a first date last night with this girl... Went to the movies (yeah, I know), ice cream and then met with two of her friends to have some beers. Lots of kino (holding hands, her touching me, me touching her... Even kisses on the cheek) And a good connection. But she rejected my attempts to go for the kiss. "You're not going to kiss me tonight", she said. Even she admitted there was a lot of tension building up between us. But she refused all my attempts. Should I go for the second date? She looks quite interested. But I don't really know what to expect.

Background stuff:

I've only talked to her once, a couple of weeks ago. Introd myself and talked a little about class but got cut off awkwardly by the professor and had to go inside.

I'm looking for tips on internalizing new beliefs.

Right now I have a list of beliefs that I check throughout the day and whenever I go out. Things like "You are the most important person in your life" and "SHE IS INTO YOU!". I want to be able to believing these things through and through without having to refer to my list. Especially when drunk.

High school senior here. There's this girl on my class I wan't to date. She is know for being really selective, and based on the guys who have tried to approach her, I think she doesn't respond well to direct game...

I've been getting along with her as a friend since last month. I have received very little IOI: Mostly she laughs of my jokes and she seems to enjoy talking to me.

I know this sounds pretty friendzone, but I haven't tried anything nor given indicators that I wan't something with her.
I wanted to become her friend first and then try something gradually...

How can I do this? She may not be interested in me, but If so, I wan't the rejection. The reason I've not approached directly is because I think maybe I have a chance. What do you guys think?

I find that asking for their

job / studies
location

is quite lame / boring and doesn't lead to anything. Talking about this stuff makes the conversation serious. I don't want that to happen.

I want something interesting, secrets and dreams. I want to what inspires them and what motivates them.

(I'm just realizing that I answer my question myself while writting this.)

I go to a fairly large university so there is always something on. My social circle is relatively large, but I tend to stay with my floor whenever we go out. My issue is that when we do go out, everyone at the parties usually hook-up and stick with those within the circles they came with and I want to meet new people and get with girls I do not know. I recently went through a rough break up, so it's been tough for me to get in state and remain outcome independence.

What's a good way to stay pumped, outcome independent and meet new people while brushing off whatever rejection that might lead to?
