He thinks she’s a good person, but not someone who he loves and values because of it. God, I hope she realizes that and dumps him. “Plain Jane” she may be, but I bet she’s still more attractive than he is. You’d be amazed at how entitled some men are while also being objectively ugly. Probably why he’s trying to knock her down a peg to soothe his ego, because he knows she could do better.

This is why I will not settle for anything less than a man I know is super into me, and who shows it consistently. Being alone is better than being with a man who thinks you’re not good enough.

Few things. If he was actually attractive then he could get someone who is also attractive. I've never thought of a Plain Jane as being average looking, I would consider average looking still nice looking. Plain Jane is just nothing either way. You know he's probably with a nice looking girlfriend he's just a piece of shit and thinks he deserves a supermodel. I would advise him absolutely to talk to her about this and be honest (explode the relationship so she can get away).

In nearly all couples I see the woman is far better looking than the goblin walking next to her.

When I was thirteen-fourteen years old, I was crushing on a guy my family knew that was in his twenties. He always treated me like a little kid even if looking back the crush was painfully obvious. I am so grateful that the guy decided to exhibit decent human behaviour and not take advantage of me. He did me a favour by ignoring me. This, probably way below average, guy would also do 'Plain Jane' a favour if he left her, even if his motivation is very different. She is guaranteed to be much happier in her own house, with her career, Netflix, books and pets than with a scrote that is certain will cheat on her sometime in the future.

This is why you need to not just screen men for general low character, predatory behavior etc but also for fantasy and delusion. Sooo many men live in a fantasy world. Attractive people usually partner with other attractive people. Rich people usually marry other rich people. This is how the world works. If he could get a beautiful woman, he'd already have one. His fantasies make him delusional, endlessly selfish, entitled and destructive.

Screening a man looking for common sense, pragmatism, realism goes a LONG way. It doesn't matter what the guy looks like or who he is or what he does, he could be a supermodel making $500k/year, but if he has no fucking common sense, none of it matters. Choose a man who has common sense. Men who live in a porn fueled alternate reality should not have any opportunities to pass on their genes.

He's honestly REALLY talking about her age. I'll bet everything I have she's an attractive (at least way more attractive than him) woman around his age.
