With OLD, there are unspoken rules that I feel like everyone should follow even during COVID times. Here they are:

Under any circumstances NEVER ever EVER go to their house. You don’t know them that well. Especially during the lockdown, I know that it might be easier, and your practicing those rules but when you go their place, it’s a disadvantage towards you. Also, it’s also LV.
Hiking, walking dates, and park dates are not good either. You need to be in a public place where people can see you. If he suggests anything that involves the wilderness, say no. He’s trying to get you alone to take advantage of the of you. Even if he seems like a good guy and you’ve talked to him many times, again, many guys are good at hiding their intentions.
Stalk him on the Internet. Type his name on Google to see what pops up. If he’s mutual friends with people you closely know ask them what they know that person is like in public. Specifically ask girls if you can. Also, the friends that you know him to be associated is mostly telling of what kind of person he’s like in real life.
Be wary if he’s asking to meet you in person so early into the conversation. Question yourself if he’s really worth and why he wants to see you in person early. He might be rushing things to move on to his next victim.
Opt for virtual meet ups and vet from there. You can always meet him later if you really like him and it works out. There’s no rush if he really likes you and respects your safety.
Never leave your drinks and food unattended because they might be spiked. If you have to go to the washroom, go when you’re done eating. He might spike it when you come back.
Never let him know where you actually live in case the date goes wrong. I had a guy try to follow me home on a date. If you have to, tell him you’ll meet him a public place like the library, mall, or community centre.

Again, I know it’s hard with lockdown during COVID times, but do not be alone with a guy you don’t know yet. Please see him in a public setting. Don’t make any exceptions for a guy that’s been “sweet” to you for a few days. Wait it out. If he really likes, he’ll keep talking to you.

Don’t date much younger men. Their frontal lobes aren’t developed yet let alone going to a man’s home period for a first “date”. Ask questions, vet, vet, vet to understand their mindset. ANY sign or intuitive bad feeling or inconsistency means instantly block and delete. No second chances. No oh he meant well.

This could save your life or incurring trauma. Please be safe ladies. May he rot in hell or get raped in jail.
