I get roasted often by my buds because when I like to casually drink, I like to get hard ciders or Not Your Fathers mainly because I just am not the biggest fan of beer. Although I can drink it, it’s not my go to drink when I am looking to just relax.
Now when I want to get drunk, I drink whiskey or rum. I actually like those.
But every time they roast me they always call me a girl or say real men drink beer. I pull up the same response and say real men drink whatever the fuck they want. Usually shuts them up.

I love those Truely flavored Seltzer "beers". 5% alcohol so you get a buzz and almost no carbs. Very very tasty. I got shit for it all the time by my friends but now they are all drinking them too

Vodka and sugar free Kool-Aid is my no-carb go-to drink. One of those unsweetened packets in a half-gallon jar, some liquid stevia extract, and you're good to go.

Brother, the older you get, the more you'll not want to drink to get drunk. After 30, your body starts to have 3 day hangovers, then if you get the gout from the booze, you won't be able to walk right for a week when your feet swell up.
Booze is all good and dandy when you're a young buck, but it's really not that great for your health.
Fuck what other people think. Drink what you're able to comfortably drink, and leave it at that. A real man knows alcohol is something to partake in with moderation. Grown children chug beers and liquor like water.
Find a good whiskey or bourbon. Have a couple of ounces when you feel like it. Have that nice decanter on your mantle or desk or counter.
Drink it as a delicacy, not as a means to an end.
Drinking too often and too much is degeneracy. I had to learn that the hard way after spending my youth as an alcoholic. Once you figure out how to treat it the right way, it becomes more enjoyable actually.
