This is something I was thinking about recently. Some men, particularly those affiliated with the marriedredpill sub, put a great deal of value on a certain kind of respect the wife gives to her husband. They value things like submission, devotion, not trying to bring down her husband in any way. It's typical as well for women on this sub who have not bought into the idea of what a wife 'should' do to reject this idea as being sexist, outdated, or just ridiculous.

Yet, if you look at how these women describe their behavior, it is interesting to see that many at least claim that they do all these things for their husband. While it is different of course to only want to do these things for one particular husband versus for any kind of husband, it's still interesting to see that they will practice these behaviors still despite the ideological differences.
