TRP is about holding frame, being the best version of yourself and respecting yourself yeah? People play "dread game" and use their superior size combined with confidence, strength, status and other attributes to woo women through expressing their masculinity yeah? Well that doesn't often work for me. Some girls like me but it's rare and I strike out 9/10 times. I'm 22, finishing college and 5'6. It's HARD.

Women want to date up, and often it feels like this is mostly about size. For women to be attracted she has to feel feminine. That's challenging when she doesn't look up to me. For women to stick around, they have to feel like they have something that's in demand that they can't get somewhere else. That's challenging when they don't look at me in the first place.

To be clear, I feel like a lot of this is cultural. In cultures that aren't American or Germanic, or I guess Chinese, height seems like one aspect of attractiveness. I had zero problems abroad, and the most attractive girlfriend I've had in the states was from a Filipino background. But in America it's like a fucking disqualifier that cannot be outweighed by other traits.

I've been with girls and had girlfriends but I sometimes get called a 'surprise player'. It's sort of a nickname for me because nobody expects me to do well at dating. Let me tell you something, that fucking HURTS. I'm in good shape, I'm almost done with a good degree. I'm smart, I've been a leader, I'm social, I dress well, take care of myself, have hobbies, even have some money banked, but it's still a SURPRISE that I do ok at dating because I'm short.

I don't want to hear from average men with short player friends. I don't want to hear from average men who didn't get attention until they found themselves and got their shit together. I don't want to her from 5'9 guys who 'feel short sometimes' I don't want to hear from tall men at all. Yes I know your height doesn't solve all your problems, but it allows you to play the fucking game.

I want to hear from short men. I want to know if they make it work. I want to know how they make it work. I want to know with whom they make it work.

Because here's the rub. Yes I can 'max out' whatever I want to and see some improvement. BUT, it's important to be able to weigh any improvement I might achieve against other ways of trying to be happy, like getting really in to anime and weed and living in my parents basement. Or becoming a preschool teacher and dropping acid on the side or whatever. In order to try I need to know that trying will actually work. So let's discuss. Can short people make it work? Who, what, when, where, why and how?
