I feel bad for anyone just finding TRP.

AskTRP has come in clutch so many times for me when I was just learning. It helped get me through my breakup and some other hard times. TRP on its own is great but gaining insight on specific situations really helps. Hopefully these other platforms or new one will spawn and take off. We need to be decentralized so if you cut off the head of the hydra, 10 more pop up.

With making r / asktrp private, you've cut the easy access to many useful informations and meaningful discussions. I could google any 'problem' + 'asktrp' and answers were right there.

Those new platforms look like they are visiting by 10 users per month. Too complicated and chaotic.

Most of Reddit’s clones/spin-offs/alternatives/competitors haven’t achieved any significant fraction of the success that Reddit has. Voat shut down, Ruqqus sucks, Saidit shut down, Raddit (now Raddle, for socialists) is a joke, Imzy (lol), etc. The alternatives listed on RedditAlternatives are lackluster to say the least.

I don’t know what the analytics are on TRP.red, but it relies on this subreddit for growth and can potentially become intellectually stagnant from the lack of newcomers bringing in novel ideas. RP isn’t a fixed religion or ideology. New blood, fresh ideas, critique and perspectives can test current dogmas, attesting to them, modifying them or dispensing with them entirely.

It is a complicated balancing act in terms of not compromising on your message while not getting banned. If you get banned, your ability to get your ideas out there is stifled to a large degree, but that same effect can occur if you compromise to the extent that they’re not getting out there in any useful capacity regardless. And while the monopolization of many different forums by a single site can be harmful, the fact that you can so easily move from one forum to the next, and that each page is standardized, allows for more opportunities for exposure to other ideas. A separate site will attract people who are already red-pilled while most of the guys who stumbled here on their own were not initially rp. For better or for worse, this is where the party is, so we should maintain some kind of continual presence here.

It’s hard to determine how much of our energies we should channel here if we’re already slated for the chopping block, but if that’s not a certainty, this sub is just way too valuable to chalk up as a loss, and we should do what we can to keep from sinking even if it means an indefinite moratorium on certain types of posts until the mods deem it safe. The growth of TRP.red, like all other alt-tech, is important, but this community on this site is invaluable.

Create a subreddit around an ideology, which is top of the funnel (femaledatingstrategy, nofap, trp)

Build up the userbase, eventually take them off Reddit into your own funnel.

This looks like the end. Reddit Admins are doing what they did with The Donald making up new rules and retroactively using those rules to ban Mods/Power Users. Once that process is complete they install their shills. Since most people are demoralized normies they go along with the new leadership and act like nothing happened.

The other thing to remember is that 1/3 to 1/2 of subscribed "Red Pillers" agree with the Admins and have no problem reporting wrong think to them, while thinking of themselves of Red Pill anticonformist Alphas. I'm willing to bet that half the people here got filled with Doom Juice because they are bloopsters susceptible to television brainwashing. Imagine calling yourself an alpha and letting Bill Gates Sterilize you like cattle. Half the people here don't have to imagine.

Overall I think we truly Red Pilled 10-15% of the people here, which honestly is as good as we could do.

True but it's also much bigger than that. This is the clear net. It's where you find your Facebook, Twitter, reddit, Google, Walmart, etc etc. So it's essentially the corporate internet now and it's run like one big human resource department. Corporations always take the path of least resistance because they're all about money. So with broadcast and internet media, silicone valley, the technocracy, all decidedly left leaning in ideology, those are the opinions they protect while vilifying anything outside of that. Again, hostile corporate environment.

Be that as it may a decentralized internet is now slowly starting to form around blockchain technology. I've already purchased a domain there to see what it's about. I'm hoping that it will lend itself to a second Renaissance for the web where real ideas from real people can once again be exchanged without being policed by pimple faced, socially awkward nobody's.
