If paternity fraud is so rare, why are feminists fighting to make paternity testing ILLEGAL? New York state and many European nations (including all of Great Britain) have bowed to feminist sexism and made paternity testing illegal. Feminists say paternity testing is wrong because it is "terribly difficult for the child and the mother, but also for other siblings, who suddenly find that all the things that they understood about their family become different."

Paternity testing at birth needs to be mandatory. This is causing an unnecessary strain on men and courts. It kind of pisses me off when some feminists say this is okay and that men who want to keep an eye on this are patriarchal. By their logic it would be okay for some mad doctor to trick his wife by performing in vitro fertilization with another woman's eggs and then implant them in his wife's uterus without her knowing.

Test sample bias would explain this easily. If I was suspicious, I'd have the test done. If I had no reason to be suspicious I wouldn't. The men most likely to take the test would fall into two groups, ones with good reasons to doubt, and ones that are paranoid without reason. The 30% to 40% figure would only be meaningful if everyone was tested, or a test population that eliminated bias was used.

10% of children are not fathered by the man they think is dad, so the 1% "real figure" pulled out of this article's ass is not credible, and simple female-liar-denialist propaganda.

What the article is useful for, is that if you think you might not be the father, then you are not 30%-40% of the time.

I have been considering a paternity test for my daughter. She is 8.5 years old now and my concern is because I have a hard time seeing any of my family features in her. I have three other kids and it's obvious they are related to me. With the child in question I cannot see these similarities, and even see features neither parent has.

Regarding her mother, I say without exaggeration that she is the worst person I have ever met. I only found out the extent of her malice, cruelty, and dishonesty after we started divorce proceedings. It was beyond anything I ever imagined. Although I can't think of an opportunity she would have had to cheat on me, I cannot rule anything out.

The main problem is I love my daughter intensely. I have spared no time or expense to be with her as often as possible. If I found out she wasn't really mine, what would I do? How would I feel?

I've thought about the mechanics of what I'd do if I found she wasn't my daughter. First, I wouldn't want to tell my daughter. I would want to tell my ex and let her know that I will keep this a secret, but child support stops. I will tell her she doesn't agree I will tell her I'll take her to court where everyone will find out what she did and she will have to repay all back child support. Whether this is possible or not doesn't matter. She will believe me and agree to this arrangement. She values money and image above all other things and has demonstrated this on many occasions.

What do you think about this? Should I even take a paternity test? If I do and she's not mine... well, I think I'll do what I described but I'm not sure how the emotions will change my plan of action. And, there is a small possibility that her mother will call my bluff.

TL;DR I think my daughter may not be mine. Not sure if I should try to find out.

That's right 1 out of 3 children are being raised by a non-biological father. This really isn't an anger issue or comedy. The fact is humans are not monogamous and we create laws and rules that support these facts. laws that make you the father whether you are biologically the father or not.

If anyone thinks women are going to go along with any kind of paternity test...

I think everyone getting a paternity test at birth is a great idea! But I wonder about the possible implications of the government being able to have all our dna on file?

Also what about non traditional families or women who had a one night stand and don't have anyone to compare it to? Could families opt out? Would this only apply to a heterosexual married couple?

This is quite easily the biggest circle-jerk-conspiracy-theory I've ever seen. The feminists are doing this on purpose to redistribute power? The idea is just ridiculous. If you read the whole article, the actual rate of cuckoldry seems to be around 1 or 2 percent. The reason 30-40% of them turn out to not be the father is because a father would already have reasonable doubt before shelling out anywhere from $75-$150.
