Sue them, its against the law because of Equal Opportunity Employment. Seriously, that is MAJOR law breaking. HUGE! If you can get proof that she said this, you have a case, and a guaranteed job.

You should see the local listings in my country, in many major stores they won't hire you unless you are (explicitly said): female, tall, good looking and white. In a country where the 'white' population is about 5%.

I had a job at a coffee chain. Only male worker. They needed someone to work 3 hours a week to unload the truck. That's all the hours I could get.

This is becoming more typical. Most places I get served by women. The problem is, I have never had good service from a waitress under 40. Waiters, on the other hand, seem great.

I wonder why that is? :P

The problem here is that the owner of this restaurant is sexist. He assumes that men, like himself, feel entitled to have women around themselves that they think are attractive. And because of that, he has an anti-male hiring policy.

If he were to drop his misogynist attitude (that women are decoration), the anti-male hiring policy would evaporate.

Meh, doesn't matter. If I was to open a business I'd go out of my way to only hire males (Disregarding AF and all that). Sexist you say? No, it's just that women are ticking financial timebombs. Men generally also work more hours than women.
