i think it’s interesting that it’s usually men who ask these questions with two extreme absolutes.

in the real world, i would never share or settle- i’d happily be alone. but i suppose for the sake of your question, i’d share a piece of a winner because it seems less depressing than being emotionally abused everyday.

Personally I'm not okay with having sex outside of committed relationships. I wouldn't date a guy who made me feel bad about my sexuality either, because what's the point of it? I think that relationship should bring joy, not corrode the quality of one's life.

Edit: I've missed the last question. I've never really been in this kind of situation. I've dated only my husband and although he clearly had options besides me he was and is into committed monogamous relationships. Lucky me I guess.

Given these 2 choices only, I elect to remain single.

However this is a truly bizarre dichotomy, why is the "winner" great in bed and makes me feel sexy vs the "loser" who sounds like an asshole with severe depression? No woman wants to be with a man who makes her feel badly about wanting sex. I mean, does he openly mock his partner for having a vagina or something? Is he an ultra religious man like my stepfather who honestly believes women are inherently dirtier than men and our menstrual cycles are part of "eve's curse"?

I think what you're really asking is if women are okay with sharing a "high value" man, or you even insinuated that women are okay with with your last paragraph, which is such a wildly ignorant belief that some men here have. Women are not okay with sharing a man. Women aren't animals incapable of higher thoughts and feelings, sharing a man is emotionally and mentally repulsive to most women by far.
