TRP purports to be an offering of "truth", baked into its very metaphor.

Even assuming for the sake of argument that TRP is completely true, it is evident from the sustained level of vitriol that at least some of its denizens harbor that they are not able to handle the "truth" and instead fall prey to rumination and decay.

TRP will often write this off as an "anger 'phase'", but at some point, if that's where your psyche is anchored, it is going to drag you down and sabotage what good experiences you may otherwise have been able to have. This is especially tragic when it happens to younger guys who are still trying to make their way in the world and figure things out.
