It is never unethical to tell the truth unless that troth will directly and intentionally harm another person “ don’t tell the mass shooter where everyone is hiding. Even if they ask”.

I am sitting on this information currently. The biggest reason I am (and have been for a few years) is I didn't want any drama being visited upon my kids at home. Youngest goes to college soon and once the STBX becomes the X I am dropping napalm. Biggest reasons for me are 2 things that hurt the most 1) Shitbag and his family care for my dog under the guise of being "nice" when we went out of town several times (it was apparently a good excuse for their communication if ever questioned) and the STBX, in the context of drop offs and pick ups introduced Shitbag to my kids and 2) The fucking piece of shit is also a Vet (kinda-AF ) and did this while I was on Active Duty and being medically retired. There isn't much lower than a Jody. What he DOESN'T know is that I know where he lives, where he works (and that he has a security clearance), what he drives, who his wife is, where she works and their kids names. When it comes time I am not only letting her know, I am letting the neighbors know, letting his work know and putting in complaints with AF security in relation to his activities and lying on security clearance paperwork. Time is drawing nye and I can't WAIT!!!!

I told the husband's wife. I waited until my divorce was finalized. She ended up staying with him. I told her because she deserved to know. I would want someone to tell me.

As someone who's been cheated on. I'd say 100% tell her and tell her now. There's absolutely nothing crueler than someone cheating on you. Your a hero if you do it. By the time you get through your divorce you won't give a shit about it. In the meantime the poor woman will have endured another 6 months of this shit. Tell her.

Probably not ethical, but what does ethics have to do with anything, especially a divorce due to infidelity. If you’re feeling guilty about it, send an anonymous package from a re-mailer service. Or just say screw both of them and walk up to her and tell her. Just don’t expect a thank you or something.

Same situation OP but she was a supervisor 5 ranks above me and pregnant with IVF. Sometimes I think on it, but I'm glad I wasn't responsible for telling someone something that could have led to a miscarriage
