There's a name for a feminist movement that is about equality for everyone..Its called Egalitarianism. Feminists hate it because rather than keeping the spotlight on women, egalitarianism seeks to give equal representation to everyone so that everyone's issues can be examined.

Which doesn't work well with feminist dogma..

Just to clarify things here firstly my post mentioned "EgalitarianismFeminists" which was a formatting error.

Secondly as far as Egalitarianism goes I consider my self an Egalitarian MRA as there are issues that women face which I agree need to be looked at however I feel that many issues men face have not or do not get nearly enough attention hence why my focus is primarily on Men's Rights.

The idea of my post was to let people know that if you are someone who believes in equality but don't feel comfortable with either the MRA or Feminist label, then Egalitarian is a decent label as a starting point.

Each feminist has her own definition of feminism, and they all downplay the unhinged things they say about men, "well that's not true and even if it was, it's only the 0.00001% of feminists that believe that".

It’s a circular argument. My wife does this. Her premise for everything is she is arguing from the correct spot to convince me of my wrongness. Or how my actions led/forced her hand in any wrongdoing. She can’t be wrong because the 📏 ruler that is measuring the wrongness is based with her argument at zero. Feminists often use this in an argument. I basically lost an argument with my wife where she sounded upset and I asked why are you upset. Fight erupts about me asking that is so rude. I immediately conceded. On my mistake but it goes off. Meanwhile she will openly decide and declare my moods and then filter everything I say through the light she has applied to her opinion of my mood.

It’s arguing with self appointed guardian of truth and righteousness that believes it’s opinion is how the line of right and wrong is divided. They are not able to be wrong.

I find myself in my usual mode of trying to find sense in this, just for the sake of exercise.

You could contend that "toxic masculinity" involves being loud, obnoxious, obsessively into sports and drinking too much, driving too fast, expectations of promiscuity - it's not hard to grow that list. I'm into literally none of those things and it's a frustration that there are guys out there who will think less of you for it. I mean, not 24 hours ago on this very subreddit I was referred to as being "beta" because I occasionally tidy the house when my wife is away working. I mean, for fuck's sake; we'll run our relationship any damn way we please, and it's no business of anyone else's.

If that's what's meant here by toxic masculinity, great, fine, couldn't agree more, but it's massively dependent on what you mean by toxic masculinity.

The real problem with what's being said in the post OP cites is that numbered list of things, which are certainly things extremist men's rights people have done; they're also very, very commonly things extremist feminsts have done.

Listing a "men's rights advocates" as an intrinsically extremist group doesn't help either. It's no more intrinsically extremist than feminism; I actually avoid identifying with either group specifically because I don't want to risk being associated with their more unpleasant extremes.

"Toxic" masculinity is hard on men too I agree. But a man who wants to be strong knows how to deal with it and make it his power. For some, it may be becoming as feminine as possible and for some it is becoming as masculine as possible. But imo, 99.9% Men will chose to be "Toxic" masculine than a feminine one. And what these misandrist are doing is, telling men that masculinity is bad and femininity is good. That what is wrong, you misandrists have no right to tell Men how to be masculine. It is for every Boy and Man to decide. These misandrist are themselves out of touch with their own femininity and resent themselves and other women who actually embrace their womanhood and feminine side.

I actually made a post on this topic a month ago. How young men are fooled by this left society into thinking that every man should embrace his feminine side. If men do the same by telling this to women, they'd lose their shit and start calling us names (that's what they can do the most anyway) I'll say this regardless of the downvotes I'll get, 'A man who is feminine is a weakling and deserves to be bullied'. Now, this doesn't involve men who just pretend to be feminine to make their daughter happy by dancing with her in a fairy costume. And this also doesn't involve men who dress as women in movies, and plays, they're doing is for money nothing else. What I hate is the men who after being a normal boy/man for decades realise that they're a women in the inside (it always crackes me up when is see someone say this) They're doing is to please this left society and the misandrist and not for themselves. They bow to these low lifes by lowering their value. Absolutely resent them. And that's why most of these leftist hate gym bros and strong men. These people want dumb men around them so slowly they can be superior to us. (Which is impossible)

I mean she's not entirely wrong. She even admits to the ideology having terrible branding because it sounds like it's exclusive and saying the at its core it isn't. "Toxic feminist" refers to individuals and "toxic masculinity" refers to the concept of masculinity itself
