I don't hang out in the manosphere a lot, but I think #1 isn't really an RP issue, but more an MRA issue. Their adherents have a lot of overlap so everything seems to get smooshed together.

For #2 I'd argue it depends on whether the RP guy is looking to enjoy the slutty hoes or whether he's trying to find a rare virginal-ish unicorn. For the ones looking to get laid, they want to put in as few resources as possible. If they're looking for a trad wife, then you're absolutely right - pay the damn bill.

Point 2 is idiotic. RP guys are basically saying pick one lane. Either you're trad and ill pay for dates. Or you're a fierce feminist, and no I'm not paying more than 50%.

There's a lot of women who are fierce feminists but also want guys to do more financial spending. Fuck that.

If I meet a modern chick, then she also has to not be demanding I pay more than 50%. Because that's BS.

Most RPers have no problem with an actual trad future housewife who expects dates to be paid for.

Literally have never seen anyone downplay the severity of rape. Most men think that rapists should get the death penalty. What does get criticized is the believe women nonsense. As it should.

In fact in the 90-ies in post-ussr there was a whole crime wave, where women would come over, spike the man's drink with clofeline(Clonidine) then rob the house. Thing is, when you mix Clonidine with booze it can literally stop your heart. It got so bad those women were nicknamed clofelinesses. And you know what? Nobody gave a shite. Men stopped trusting women with alcohol completely as a result. You invite a girl over, you don't let your drink out of your sight for even a second. Sounds familiar?

Are men more aggressive on average due to testosterone? Yes. Do they have a monopoly on violence and law breaking? No.

Issue 1: Because you shouldn’t just believe someone being accused without evidence like if someone is confiding in you they got raped by someone doing start interrogating them but if a story comes out don’t jump on the bandwagon without evidence. Rape is seen socially as a crime worse than murder so these things can ruin a man even if he is proven innocent. Also your average person doesn’t commit crime that directly hurt people for no reason even in high crime populations like black people only a tiny percentage of black people commit violent crimes.

Issue 2: you don’t want to spend a lot of money on someone you get nothing from like forking over 100 dollars for a date that doesn’t lead to sex or a LTR is a waste.

TRP does not downplay rape. The problem it has in your scenario is that the woman you let in your house can just claim you raped her and your life is over. With only her word your social life ends and the law follows. It does not matter if you get acquitted, in societies eyes, you are stained.

TRP is does not defend traditional values. It rejects the notion that nontraditional women demand traditional men. If you are strong and independent, you can pay for your own food.

T1. Men have no problem overgeneralizing female behavior based on the worst women may have done to a man, such as divorce rape. But if they used the same standard to judge themselves, men, by the worst men do to women, such as rape and murder, they would have to either never leave the house or lull themselves, because men are capable of infinitely more terrible things done to women than the other way around.

This is a case of guys shooting themselves in the foot and then blaming women about it. If you don't want to pay for dates, the either ask women out on free dates or cheap dates. Don't create problems for yourself. You are in control. Not the woman. Jeez. What a bunch of whiners.

Issue 1:

The same reason women ignore men's suicide rates. If it doesn't apply to them, they don't care. I don't rape, therefor I don't worry about being a rapist.

Issue 2:

I always paid for dates but I still expect the courtesy of a woman offering to pay her half. Otherwise she wasn't raised right.

The gap between men and women in physical strength is entirely nullified with the advent of firearms. Guns are the great equalizer. Now, it doesn't matter if you put a 12 year old girl up against The Rock. Whoever has the gun wins. And if both of them have one, whoever draws it first wins. Either way, physical strength is completely removed from the equation.

So you're right, I don't have any sympathy for women who forgo the perfect modern solution to this ancient problem by refusing to own a gun for petty ideological reasons. And I certainly don't have sympathy for them when they stupidly vote in droves to strip themselves and other women of guns, ensuring that they will be owned exclusively by precisely the violent criminals they are most afraid of, in effect, widening the gap between them even further.

I do, however, have sympathy for the few intelligent women who recognize this and do own guns, but fear that they will fall victim to other women stripping their guns from them.

The second point is inherently misunderstood by a lot of RP men.

Women laugh at men who refuse to pay for dates not because they are expecting anyone to pay for dates.

It's not ridiculous to say, "we should split the bill." It's the motive behind the act of refusal.

Men who are refusing to pay for dates are essentially, in this day and age, advertising that they expect women to put out in exchange for the meal. There are no respectful men who want to "stick it to feminists" by saying "I don't pay for my dates anymore. Let's see how women like that shit!"

Personally, if I ask someone (friend or date) out to eat, I am assuming I am paying for us. It's just courtesy. It has nothing to do with gender. If someone asks me, I assume they are wanting to pay. I will still try to pay if I can. I will also offer to at least pay my half. Again, I believe it is polite.
If someone asked me to go eat and then acted like I am some annoying ass who followed them to a restaurant uninvited and they want to prove to me and everyone else that they don't owe me shit ... well, that person just looks like a RP creeper.

Issue 1:Men are never taken seriously when it happens to them. Also the lack of accountability society shows to women when they use the rape card for false accusations or when its used for a scapegoat for their actions.

Issue 2: The whole not paying for dates/splitting the bill is the current standard to modern dating. It's not that Men can't pay for dates its about not being a sucker when she uses you for a foodie call or just flat out rejects you 1-2 dates in. Traditional style of dating is not compatible with Modern dating of 2022.

If men are the stronger, physically dominant sex (obvious)- why do so many y’all downplay harassment/assault/rape? I’ve seen so many stories of men supposedly saying “not all men”, “men get raped more”, “probably wasn’t even rape”, etc etc.

Since when did not paying for dates / splitting the bill become RP? I’ve seen this idea several times recently, and am SO confused.

The average man here in this forum is just selfish. They will twist anything that doesnt benefit them in some way. They want to be the more powerful sex but not accept that power brings negative qualities because they cannot be the bad guy. If their dates pay for themselves, they have more money and arent pressured to be a sole provider.

I actually think human beings are just selfish. So this isnt just about men.

Any women in your house could literally be armed, or drug you, or poison you, or have accomplices. About 10% of homicides are committed by women, and women killers more likely to have a male victim than male killers are to have a female victim, so you probably aren't as safe you imagine.
