How can you tell what your RMV is? I have no problem getting dates with good guys on apps, but I’ll hit 30 soon, and am terrified that I’ll have to give up on finding a partner who will like me back due to my age. I don’t sleep around but I also haven’t had many boyfriends and most dates fizzle out after a month or so.

About me: tallish

-125 lbs and SUPER active

-good hobbies (skiing, golf, tennis, Spartan races, etc.)

-am gainfully employed (I know men supposedly don’t care but I’ve found many guys actually really respect this!)

-long blonde hair, clear skin, breast implants, etc. not a model but also not ugly

-love my family and want my own ☺️

-Educated, read the news, financially savvy (800 credit score, have an advisor, etc.)

-Pretty chill overall lol

-I’m feminine and I allow the man to “lead” in a relationship. Not one of those “men are trash” type of girls! Wouldn’t mind being a SAHM one day but I can also continue my career, which I enjoy

Is it wrong to go for guys in the same socioeconomic and cultural bracket as me? They’re white-collar corporate (typically tech or financial sales, or consulting), come from a traditional family, Caucasian, are kind, caring, and ambitious. Think golfing suburban dad. I’m not super picky about looks but I do love some height so I can wear heels 🤣🤣

Reading other forums, however, makes me realize that I’m going for the top 0.1% (white, 6 figures, and tall - even tho 150k+ is standard in California and NYC for select industries). Am I aiming too high? The “top 1%” is extremely sought-after and society says that unless you’re 21 and super fertile and beautiful, you’re delusional.

Advice on how to determine your league and when to lower your “standards”? Particularly when you’re no longer young? (30+)
