I am a 37 year old man. I entered college in 2004 and was on facebook year one. Most dating I have ever had has been through texting, but in my mid 20s it switched to apps. I actually met my wife on tinder.

That being said, I seem to see a lot of young men on here upset with the issues of dating in their late teens and 20's and wanted to ask what are the main issues with dating when younger now.

I can say when I was younger the main issues were:

1) Where do the girls hang out? : Seriously. My guy friends and I would drive around in high school and college and wonder where we can meet girls outside of school or class. In college we mostly met girls in the dorms, cafeteria, gym, through friends or at parties.

2) Getting a girl's number : This was key to getting a date or going out obviously. Lots of fake numbers.

3) Where do you go on a date?: Girls when I was younger just wanted to go to house parties and either hook up with randoms or party with their friends. Dating from 18-24 was either high school kids or those couples getting married.
