We know that to attract her, we had to flock our feathers and peacock our unique personalities. We are not perfect, but that’s ok. Perfect is boring, and we had that imperfect charm. We became projects, and we changed bc we loved her. In the process we lost a little of ourselves, and once the happy wife, happy life kicked in, we became controllable. We became yes-men, and agreed to do anything she wanted to either avoid fights or to suck on the sweet tit of diminishing affection. We then became boring.

What did you give up? And how would you have seen your unmarried self living without her?
