It's a numbers game. Usually I would be very specific with the girl I wanted that I could have a relationship with. but then once I started talking to more women that fall outside that and looking at women who might just be fun for a while it got better.

Also not going with the time wasting bullshit like needing to talk for a specific time before meeting or leading on. If we don't have plans within a few days I'm putting them on the back burner because if we don't meet within 2 weeks it's not happening and if it doesn't it's not worth it. Most of the time these women are just looking for a penpal. This was the biggest thing because the time and energy you're wasting on these women can be used to talk to women who actually want to meet

I worked out a lot, shed my fat, got muscular. I also fixed my diet, and eat mostly pretty healthy.

This isn't a red pill bit from me, I promise. You'll just get more confident and happier working out. If you've been working out for 5-10 years, you might be surprised how far you've come in terms of mental gains. Rejections seem lighter, I feel better about myself, I have this consistent thing in my life that I enjoy and find challenging. I look forward to my workouts. Also, women seem to like fit bodies over fat ones, so it won't hurt you there.

Whether you're already fit or not, I would consider just going out to more social events. Lockdowns did a number on people, and even extroverts I know got discombobulated socially. Maybe look for public events in your area (on reddit, or meetup, or whatever) and go do them without any expectation of finding a romantic partner. Just to get yourself socially calibrated, get used to talking with people, cracking jokes, taking an interest in what they're doing, maybe learning something new.

More than anything, do this kind of thing for explicitly for yourself, not for the as-yet-unmet women you're going to find along the way. When I first started working out, it was for pretty puerile reasons, and I got some success just by being tall, good looking and slim. When I started doing this stuff for myself, some women started to throw themselves at me, rather than having to ask.

Just... be your best self. Live your life.

Self-improvement (gym, studies, etc.), valuing singleness and ignoring superficial women.

I'm an average looking guy.

In my case it is "woman" and not "women", after all I only date one woman. She is my first and I am her first, we have been together for 6 years.

I’m specifically talking about the men who struggled but then found success. What was it that you did or didn’t do that made you successful with find women to date you?

I don't think there is a recipe; I really like Youtube's Dr.K take on this - even if you do absolutely everything right, for non-top-1% men, finding a person who will have deep mutual attraction with you through a "natural, normal flow of life" can take anywhere between 1.5 to 5 years.

What advice do you have for someone who is in your previous self’s shoes?

Putting aside that I cheated the system and quit my then-job to ethically get with my now-ex-subordinate, being both relaxed / non-neurotic about the whole thing, able to cook something, and not being a looping malfunctioned sperg with a girl literally putting her head on your lap - definitely helps.

Gym/healthy diets/sunbathing - no reason needed. Youneed to be good looking and healthy if you wanna get anything.
High paying/high status/moderate power jobs - it helps a lot on your pursuit if the women come to you.
Improve social skills and social perception by high exposure and experience - socializing is an art you must master if you want high returns.
Acting classes - read above.
Obtained a gigantic net of contacts and people I know/who know me - being famous helps a lot as it increases you chances.
Always keep on trying my luck with any new women - if you let any woman go by you without you hitting on them, you not only losing a chance, but also losing the chance of learning how to do better with the next person.

I’m bi, and I’ve never, literally never, had a problem with partners.

When I struggled I was home schooled and couldn’t relate to anyone.

For me, No. 1 was learning Game. Every guy can learn game. Short guys think it's enough to be tall. It's not. You know who else is tall? Frankenstein.

No. 2: Get in the best shape you can. Do this for YOU. You well feel better and look better. It will also help with girls.

No. 3: Get your money straight. Get on your grind and stay on your grind. Again do this for YOU, but it will also help with girls.

No. 4: Fix you wardrobe. If you have gay or female friends, or sisters, let them help.

No. 5: Enjoy your life. Get some cool hobbies. I write, record and perform original music. My voice makes girls feel all melty inside. It took some work. I also play co-rec volleyball. I like it, but it also puts me around young, fit women.
